It does give a nostalgic feel of playing my Nintendo again. =D

In all seriousness, I feel that the 16x16 is too limiting and the 32x32/64x64 does fit this game to the best. Just an opinion, which this entire thread i about.
16x - Pixeludi and customized Painterly
32x - ...I love 32x, but every single 32x pack has something that seriously bugs me. Glimmar's is the best, though.
64x - Misa's. This is also the best pack, bar none.
128x - Bumpmaft

I also dearly like Glimmer's steampunk texture but I don't use it because I don't do mods that are not supported by the game engine. (Which is all mods at the moment, really hope to see an official mod API soon.)

I don't really have a fav. although I do like the clean simple true-to-MC ones. :3
I'm mostly just posting to get this in my post history so I can come back when I HAVE tried other packs.
