Man, where to start with this one. I upped the saturation on the gravel so it's hopefully more easier to tell from stone, AGAIN. The cobblestone has migrated from a brick texture to a four corners texture. I'm considering doing this with the mossy cobblestone and the sandstone as well. I've also added an appealing GUI which can be seen in the current screenshots as of this edit. (The thing in between the health and armor meters is a mod, ignore it. C:) I want to move on to mobs next, but of course this will obviously take a while. Mobs will be the 3.0 update instead of the GUI since the GUI is already in v2, so the v2.1-2.9 will be GUI updates. (if there is even a 2.9. :tongue.gif:) VirtuCraft v2.2.zip
v2.1
Changed the texture of bedrock to a higher contrast and darker version of stone. The bookcase has a black and white transparent diagonal gradient to fit the rest of the block's diagonal gradients. The dispenser now has a hole on it instead of being just a flat surface. I've colored in the wheat, and I've made a new texture for lava. If there aren't any problems with this, I'll move on to the GUI. If there are, then I'll just package it with the v3.0 GUI update. VirtuCraft v2.1
v2.0
Huge freaking update! The textures have been filled in with a color-to-black gradient so that they're much MUCH easier to distinguish, and now it looks even MORE amazing. VirtuCraft v2.0
v1.1
I've textured the soul sand, the cake, retextured the snowy dirt and the snow so that they "blend" together, and I've added colored outlines to the diamond and redstone ores. I've also increased the saturation of gravel so it's easier to tell from dirt. VirtuCraft v1.1
v1.0
I think it's good enough to release at this time, seeing as pretty much all of the terrain.png has been modded to become "virtual". I'll leave the cake alone for now, but I have a future concept for it, as I do for the the snow and snowy dirt. VirtuCraft v1.0

Cool Computery looking textures but with still some classic Minecraft, the cobblestone looks kinda like mine with the brick like look and gradient grouts (Not that I'm implying what you think!). Although the gradient grouts don't tile together (unless it was by design which is fine too)

I only wanted the brick to tile together at first, didn't think about the gradients. I might do something about that in the next update. Thanks for the suggestion!
Okay some more suggestions, perhaps make the dispenser more distinctive instead of it being pretty just black i,e, draw the barrel 'hole' for where items shoot out. Or is the terrain.png fully finished because bedrock is also the simular dark block with no distinct pattern, maybe like 'error' blocks or perhaps make some parts transparent or use a noise effect on it, cause they are 'corrupted' blocks. Also I think the bookshelves should be more 'dark' maybe just the outlines of the books and make them have dark spines.
Well good job on the texture pack dude. These are just my suggestions, use them if you wish.
Your texture pack is pretty good. Your banner is freaking awful. Make your banner match your texture pack in terms of quality and a lot more people will probably try this out.
Just downloaded v2.1 — very cool! I love the look. My lava still seems to have the default texture, though.
Some thoughts…
[*:3srl2m4b] I'm colorblind, and the Stone and Gravel textures are really hard to tell apart. Maybe make the Gravel gradient fill brighter, like on Dirt? (Sand would look pretty good that way, too.) Everything else seems nice and distinctive, though!
[*:3srl2m4b] It's kind of a shame that Cobblestone has a "brick" texture, as it makes Brick less unique. Maybe make Cobblestone look like regular Stone, but split into quarters?
[*:3srl2m4b] I assume you just haven't gotten around to it yet, but Virtu-fied items and mobs would be awesome!
[*:3srl2m4b] Black Wool ends up looking sort of medium-grey. Makes my pixel art look funny. :-/

I'll come up with a better banner when I have good ideas. I was aware that the current one isn't really...well...good, in terms of fitting the texture pack. At the time I wasn't at a computer that could run minecraft, therefore I couldn't get a screenshot for a background. I'll fix it while I can.

[*:1qgvk5oy] I had that problem before, and I thought I'd fixed it. XD
[*:1qgvk5oy] I kinda felt that the cobblestone wasn't unique when making the textures. The four corners thing is a good idea too. I'll think about that.
[*:1qgvk5oy] Yeah, right now I'm working on the GUI, mobs and stuff are next. (Hopefully if I can read the skins. :tongue.gif:)
[*:1qgvk5oy] I'll try to make black wool darker. C:
And about the default lava, I'll see if I can do something about that. C:
Development on the pack is now dead.

Also use filesmelt, not *shirt*shack
Otherwise p. cool
Thanks.
I've never had any problem with Imageshack. :/
I'll come up with a more appropriate title some time later on.
I thought it would fit the virtual space theme. Thanks. C:
