How do i install a texture pack using the mods and texture pack button on the start up screen of minecraft.
I know it seems like a stupid question, but i put the files used inside a folder and put THAT folder into the folder that pops up when you click the install a texture button.
Please get back to me quick.
Herp.

Also;
I request photographic evidence or I'll be forced to state that what you claim to have occurred, did not, in fact, transpire at all.
just take from ur downloads and drag to the texture pack folder when u click the texture pack button but some packs require other things such as mc patcher.
/facepalm
Cant believed no one has answered this...
Start up minecraft, click the mods and texture packs, go to Open Texture Pack folder
Then you should get a window where the pack you downloaded should go, do not extract it though, leave it as a zipped compressed folder click and drag the downloaded texture pack and stick it in the new window.
Restart minecraft, go back to Mods and texture packs, click on your texture pack, hit back, and enjoy!
