While working on updating my Mooncraft pack to be 1.2 friendly I came up with a stone texture that I really liked.
Liked enough in fact to make it the basis for a new pack.
(Textures are rather obviously first drafts.)
Now I am trying to decide where I should go with this pack so I figured I'd ask the forums for ideas.
Oh and that dirt/grass transition is just a placeholder while I play around with the grass pattern on the top of the block. Once I get it where I really want it, I'll drape it down the side for a smoother transition.

Wow, i really like this personally. It's different and we don't get to see that much these day's. Only thing i don't like is the redstone and Diamond. I like much more how the coal blends with the cobble. Trees and Grass are awesome IMO.
Yea not terribly happy with the redstone and diamond myself, they really don't fit in. I've also been playing around with reworking the leaves. (Made the leaves a single oval instead of the large three lobed things.)
Oh, and as for the dirt being gray scale, it isn't. It's actually the same faded tan color I used for the stone so that it would blend in with it better. That might be hard to see on some monitors though.

Which one do you mean by hardwood? The original log texture or the birch?
The grass is still somewhat of a placeholder. I'm trying to decide if I want to do some biome magic on it or just have it be normal grass. By biome magic I mean making flowers appear in hot areas and puddles show up in wet ones. I may just release two final versions, one with the biome colors setup for doing the flowers and such and one for use with the default.
The sand/snow textures are placeholders I put in to have something closer to what I wanted in terms of color.

Curse PremiumFunny you should say that as I titled my working folder for it "high contrast pack".
As for how they look from further away...
I don't think they look too bad.

Curse PremiumLeaves look neat, and the cobblestone contrast looks a little too high.

i hope you will look at that idea, by editing biomecolors!

Curse Premium(I'm fairly happy with the furnace but I think the workbench needs some more work.)
Also, for those who want to beta-test the pack, I've decided to put up the current version for download.
