Ever since March 31 of the 'New' 1.4 update my 'Glossy' texture pack was outdated an incompatible. As anyone would do, I played 1.4 instead of updating but I wanted to 'get the feel' of the new blocks and conjure ideas. I had some progress but fairly fast updates brought back the update process but mostly procrastination... Sorry 'bout that. Actually a lot of procrastination then before I knew it several updates had occurred and new blocks added each time. This discouraged me and further discouraging my progress I was in the heavy part of schooling in my last year, so Minecraft had to be set aside. However I realised, 'MARCH' that's a GODAMN long time and it was about time I worked on it. After many hours and have done a revamp of 'Glossy' with:
I bit of a 'whoops' I uploaded the wrong and older version... The proper one now has added melons, their stems and the other terrain.png particles. So from now on 'Glossy' is now VERSION 2 and this one 2.1.
@McKnackus:
I'm making more screenshot presentations as of right now that aren't heavily manipulated and show others specifics.
I tried downloading but media-fire says "file is set to private"...
Please fix this as I'm in love with the screenshots of your pack!
Oh darn, grrr. Forgot to update the OP DL link, should be fixed, I just lock the old links so that's why - thank you for your kind words, I appreciate it.
Can you suggest any mods I should glossify? I'm thinking Aether as it's one of the most popular - I also have the Mystic Mod Pack in mind (mainly because it's the only mod I play, but hasn't been updated). Or should I work on items/mobs/misc?
Remember me?
Congrats on continuing your pack! I have basically given up on mine for now, and decided I'm not going to bother to update it until the full release of MC, if at all. I may make an entirely new one at some point... we'll see. Glad to see you're working on yours again, though! Looking good.
The white color overlay on the screenshots and the orange/purple gradient map overlay on the nether picture makes it a bit difficult to actually see what's changed.
Sorry for the inactivity, mainly just due to finishing school and all that. Gonna try to update to Pre 6.
Thinking of trying a new more subtle cobblestone, just lighting the cracks just a bit so it's not so harsh.
@Underhero555: Good to see you again man, hope you get back into texturing soon.
@Gpof: Yeah, not entirely sure what I was doing, I was using a web-based 'hipster' photo effect editor just to produce screenies quicker. Quite the black sheep next to all my other shiny interface images. I plan to redo the screenshots and use the 'biome black overview' ones instead most likely. The newest one: Desert Biome, slowly plugging away.
@~Shadow~: Thanks, the typeface is called, 'Prognostic'. What do you plan to use it for? I basically always use that font as it's part of my Glossy branding.
@alf3mb: Thank you for the video, apprieciete it. Any feedback on how to improve the glass? I am slowly working on a customizable Glossy down on minecraftcustomizer.net. I was thinking of creating a less obtrusive glass, without the glare marks.

- Over 60 redesigned blocks
- GUI menus completed
- 'Glossy' tools
-1.9 Pre-Release 2 support!
Enjoy and Download!
(I think its fair for me using a AdF.ly link, come on :tongue.gif:)

10/10
But anyway, I'm working on making this Pre 3 compatible. I'm just working on the enchanter and I don't know which one to pick, opinions?
I'll also put up a poll, I prefer the light blue diamond then the dark purple then the creamy orange and lastly the violet/orange combo gems.
1.9.4 appears to be out however, so I'll have to play around with it a bit and 1.9.4 compatibility will be up soon, maybe by Monday.
