I know this has probably been posted a million times, but what is the best way to change the colors of the biome color files? Photoshop's color replacer? Changing the hue and saturaction? Color masking?
On a slightly unrelated note, I was wondering if it was possible to change the color of the sky, I'd like it to be a brownish, dusty taupe color, like Mars, but I don't know where to find said file.
Ah, so that's basically all I need to do? Thanks bro.
Now, is there any way to change the sky color?
To my knowledge no, unless you are looking for solid black. Basically it is hardcoded into the game engine, it is a modding thing not a texture pack thing.
And I suggest pixelating the final result by adding or messing around with a noise filter, that way each individual block will differ in shading which will give grass more of a dynamic feel.
The quandary pack does this really well.

Curse PremiumI've done everything from just hue shifting to scribbling with the paintbrush.
My suggestion is to play around a bit with it and see what you like.
