i have been trying to find the starry sky so i can make it look more like space. can anyone help me out with this?

I would LOVE to have an option to change the night sky, but I have never seen it done. I think the image is buried somehow in the code, and our talented Java people haven't yet figured out where, or how to modify it.

Somebody please prove me wrong. I want big spiral galaxies and colorful nebulae and gas giant rings and ****!

There was a mod that made the sun and moon larger than normal, though I never yet tried it...

i have found plenty of texture packs that change the sun and the moon but none for the sky itself.

I think they are randomly placed white pixels, so you could only change how much are spawned in the sky.

It cannot be changed. Quite unfortunate as I have a nice 10x moon in the sky. Another planet actually.
