Ok, so were sorry for "stealing" Glimmar's pack... I suppose stealing from more than one pack at a time constitutes a "mixpack"...
It just galls me that you've pulled the same stunt twice. Mix-packs are all well and good, as a way to let other people see Minecraft the same way you do. But you need to give the names of the original artists to be at all respected for it, as well as TELL us that it's a mixpack in the first post. You do neither, assuming we need a poorly worded tutorial on Xau's HD patcher and how to load the pack.
Jason, you should to do the following if you want to redeem yourself in the eyes of the community:
*- Write an apology directly to Glimmar, as this is the second time you've distributed his work uncredited. Correct spelling, punctation, and capitalization must be used. I would recommend sending him a hand-written letter to be judged on handwriting as well, but giving out someone's home address is tantamount to suicide these days.
*- Credit ALL the packs you used, with a link to the relevant threads.
*- Use /simg instead of /img. It's a handy technique that fits images to the size of the forums.
*- Rehost your files on an ad-free site such as MediaFire or Dropbox. No one else has turned a profit from these texture packs, why should you. Or inversely, why use some ad-loaded filesharing site when you can use one that's much more convenient for everyone?
*- BUY A COPY OF MINECRAFT. Because the only pirates anyone likes are based off the ride at Disney World.

But the proper way to deal with this kind of scenario is with humility and grace. By posting the credits in GINORMOUS font and calling us complainers, you are only adding fuel to this little flame war. Just tone it down a bit: being humble when people call you out on a genuine mistake or a lapse in manners will get you far.
It's a nice combination pack... the edits you've made are good first steps if you ever decide to make a completely original artpack some day. Thank you for posting it, and for being a part of the Minecraft forums. It's people like you and I butting heads that makes the place so interesting

Im inclined to agree with this mate, but i still want this taken down, the credits are not good enough, he is also using john smiths textures, and gerodoku/doku textures, and he is still trying to make money from this, which is daylight robbery and against all that these texture artists have strove for. He has also not linked the original texture packs and is slandering the people who try to keep these forums decent in his OP, its disgraceful to say the least, and he is in the wrong.

No one likes to see anyone get flamed, least of all myself. Neither does anyone like to be heavy handed, but when someone spends hours, days, weeks of time on creating something new and gives it to a grateful community for free, it kind of cheapens it all when someone, for all intents and purposes, offers it as their own and, even worse, tries to profit from it! It's only going to make any modder or artist think again about offering their work for free.
We could all do with a little extra cash, myself included, but using someone else's work to get it, is just not fair. Fair-minded folk, as you've seen, get uppety about that sort of thing.
As I say, for my part (can't speak for others whose work you are offering), thanks for the apology and the credits, and without sounding like some kind of responsible adult (which I'm not ...adult yes, responsible...not! lol!), try not to make things worse on your threads with your angry retorts to the support of fair-minded folk. There are some pretty eloquent members around these parts and they will react appropriately to a challenging comment.
I hope for your sake, things will calm down, but you've got to change the way you do things, Jason, because you'll end up getting a reputation and probably not the one you wanted.
