hey bro, i rly want to use the 256 version im doing everything right, but it just hangs right after the logo screen. p.s. i tried deleting the options file but when i run minecraft it just makes a new one
Like I've said before I've never experienced this so I'm unsure as to the fix.
But if you're running windows 7 64bit (or any other 64bit system) be sure you are using 64bit java.
Because 32bit java on a 64bit system just can't handle it... Infact 32bit java can hardly handle this pack at all.
Other than that and the delete options file I don't know what to suggest. You'd be better to ask the maker mcpatcher and read that thread as it's not the texture pack that is the problem :smile.gif:
Expect this to be added in an update, I'll also credit you and Nasa for it :tongue.gif:
You're the best. I would have done myself but seriously my download speed is about 150-180kb/s... and it said like 8 hours to download it =/ ha.
You should make the texture pack have new textures for mods to like Baby Animals, More Creeps, Xie's Farming Mod, And Mo' Creatures. That would be awesome so people who have mods on have a texture for everything
Just popped in to inform you all that update may not arrive for a few days, computers being transfered into a new case and I'm upgrading it some more for various games, so I'll be busy with them.

No. Never.
Only reason Wildgrass was added was because I WAS using it at the time. I'll only make textures for mods should I choose to use them, not due to demand.
In my opinion its the mod authors themselves who should supply higher resolution textures as it's their mod. However they're not obligated to. So kindly ask them... If not do it yourself or get a willing friend to do it.

When this texture pack is installed, my game freezes after the mojang logo. Fix, anyone?
Either your computer can't handle it or you messed up somewhere. The software and texture pack works flawlessly for anyone else including myself. Follow my video exactly, if it doesn't work. Upgrade java to 64 bit if you have a 64bit OS and be sure everythings ticked that can be.

It seems to crash a lot, specifically when chatting (on an online server) and then attempting to open a box/table/furnace.
Other than that, it looks amazing, and makes the game feel 10,000 times better. But the crashes make it hard to use.
Upgrade java to 64 bit if you have the 64bit OS. Works flawlessly for me. It's YOUR problem, not mine.
the 256 download isnt working, after clicking download on media fire it just keeps loading then says no connection. the 128 works for me so im not sure why this is happening. do you think you could give a direct download or different file share site download?
Hi. I have a problem.
When I had installed textures (with the mcpatcher), all was fine, but game crashed after a minute. Next time I started game it doesn't pass more than logo. When I reinstalled textures with mcpatcher, it crashed again and haven't passed again. So what must I do? Please, give me a detailed algorithm of debugging, if you know the answer. Thanks.
Also, computer is quite fine. And I read englsh much better than I write it, believe me :smile.gif:

Sorry mate. but the reason modders dont make alternative versions for higher res is; they would fit with the themes.
e.g. would a 128p retexture of say, Greater Greenery, work well with both TRON:rescraft and Aza's arid texture pack? the mod itself would be great with those packs, especially if it was retextured to fit them.
Just saying though :biggrin.gif:

Confirmed, there seems to be a problem on MediaFire's servers.
Could OP or someone else please share the 256 pack?
Thanks!
I have no problem with it but you're right anyway. I should have made a second mirror for the packs.
Expect the OP to have the mirror links shortly. (Mirror Site will be Megaupload for anyone interested)

Hmmm what is the OS of your computer? If it is Windows 7 64bit, download 64bit Java. If that fails... Go to .minecraft and delete the options file.
If that fails unpatch with mcpatcher and install the 128 pack.
Did you follow my install video?

You're definately right :smile.gif: I was just merely stating a point. That's why I said that mod uploaders are not obligated to do so for the reason you pointed out with Rescraft as an example :smile.gif:
There are many mods for Minecraft. If all texture pack artists went out of their way to make textures for the mods we'd never get work done. Especially with mods being updated also.
That is why I will stick with making textures for mods that I personally use. Lucky you that I now added Greater Greenery to the list hehe :smile.gif:
However should I find I have time I MAY work on making textures for SDK's guns and Mo Creatures etc :smile.gif:
(Just don't get your hopes up too high)
not that big a fan of SDK's guns or mo' creatures
I just use mo' creatures as an example alot because it is one of the most downloaded mods on this site

I hate them both in my opinion, guns don't fit in with minecraft for me. And there are some creatures I hate :tongue.gif:

cool i want access to win7 sp2 as well. anyways anyone using a 64bit OS should really be using 64bit apps and not the 32bit version when they exist. might also be useful for KDStudios to put under how to install in big red letter to install 64bit java
That's a great idea I will do that as soon as I've finished updating the pack for 1.4
(Kinda have to start from scratch considering computer is still being repaired)

Where is the download link? Lol I can't find it...
Open your eyes and scroll down on the OP, they stick out a mile :smile.gif:
Okay guys sorry for my absense, kinda been sorting out server issues, getting computer repaired and also trying to work on a very old xp machine haha. So bare with me I will have 1.4 out as soon as I can.
Anybody else getting bad framerates with this? I was able to use the 256x with 1.3 just fine, but trying to use the new 256x with 1.4 my framerates drop into the teens and 20s(if i'm standing still). I'm downloading the 128x to see if it helps...

I'd certainly love to hear your input while I'm taking a break from this :smile.gif:
What would you like to change/see in this pack?
Installing 64-bit JVM from http://java.com/en/download/manual.jsp seems to have solved the issue, this is assuming you have 64-bit Windows.
(Windows 7 64-bit SP2)
That's a great idea I will do that as soon as I've finished updating the pack for 1.4

Anyway
Enjoy!
