Quick question, I use the 128x128 pack, and I can't seem to get your lava and water textures to work. I patch it with the patcher, and everything else works great but the water and lava don't change. I've tried patching it with the custom water and lava checked, and again with only animated lava and water checked but neither replace the texture for the water and lava. I've made sure I have the latest client, latest version of the patcher, and latest version of your texture pack, and everything works great, just not the water and lava lol.

I'm not sure what is causing this at all so all I can suggest is when you use mcpatcher... make sure everything is ticked. Not much else to suggest really. However are you having the same problem with 256 or is that fine?
Also please take a look at the test reference file and tell me what you think of it, you can also try it with wildgrass but that's not required :smile.gif:

Hmmm I'm not sure why it is doing this but be assured I'm now looking into the problem to see if I can replicate these results. Like in the reply to Firago all I can suggest is to be sure EVERYTHING is ticked. As you saw in my installation video it worked fine when I tested in the end :smile.gif:
256 is the same as 128 just toned down so the results should be the same. Regardless I will be looking into it either later or tomorrow :smile.gif:

It wasn't harsh at all, it's the way you came across, it didn't seem like trolling and it was just critisism which I'm really thankful for :smile.gif: And that's what I'm trying to aim this pack to be. My graphics tablet arrived last week and its been so helpful with this pack.
And if you wish to go a little more indepth, by all means do. Every comment that has suggestions gets pasted onto a notepad file I have and the most common and important ones get done one by one :smile.gif:
I did get your fire and water to work on 256, but could never get it on 128 no matter how i installed, so it is quite puzzling. =/ and ill be sure to boot up the Test Reff soon! =D
To me the shading makes it look like a grey basalt... Basalt tends to be darker.
this page also has other rocks to look at for textures based on the real stone.
The water. It looks like water with the viscosity of syrup. At least when its flowing.
I really enjoy the animation for breaking rocks and the like . very smooth.
I don't really like the dirt in the test reference. A little too plain.
The wild grass is great but a little "big". There is no lily texture.

I'm not a fan of it either but its seamless now so people can shut up with the complaining :smile.gif: It is a test reference though so its not permanent, just want to hear peoples feedback so this means a lot.
It is a bit plain but to be honest... is dirt in real life interesting to look at when you dig a hole? haha :tongue.gif:

Is there anything that could be done to the woodplanks? After using it for a while id look at wooden structures on some multiplayer servers and theyd look horrid. Other packs the wood texture seems to work with them better.
How to describe a change that you could implement is my next struggle. A darker woody color would be nice but not so dark that with torchlight you dont see any detail ..

Me and UrNinjaNemesis fixed this via pm.
Anyone else who has this problem just delete the options file in your .minecraft folder and that should sort it.
The reason for the hang for some people is still debatable and need more information =/

Wooden Planks of TR01, TR02 or v1.02?
The thing with multiplayer structures is because people build using different texture packs so it may look odd with many different packs. There is NOTHING I can do about it.
It looks fine for me and my structures and other people and their structures so yeah... I think they're here to stay and depending on the vote will determine whether TR02 replaces v1.02 :smile.gif:

Na I don't really I use a mix of Paint.NET and Gimp2.6
for the bump map I used Gimp
And in honesty I only used google for cobblestone but I edited it a lot so that it fits perfectly, it also looks great for what it's usually used for so I'm going to keep it :tongue.gif:
And it really is hard, it took me at least an hour n half to do the cow texture because of all the smudging and burning I had to do.
Also having a graphics tablet helps a lot so I can bring my drawing to life :smile.gif:
Be sure to try out TR02 because it really is the most detailed I have ever done.
I always make the textures 512x512 and when they're finished I resize them to 256 or 128 respectively so that there is minimal loss of detail.
I've been extremely bored after they broke the game with the update so I thought you might get a chuckle out of this as well. I used nothing but the one strand of bamboo that was in your pack and made it into a forest. ^^
Since it was originally from your pack, you can use it if you want. I just thought it was impressive how vastly different something can become with a little work.

I never use coloured wool so thanks for pointing this out, sometimes when I resize from 512 to 256 or 128 they go out of alignment by 1 or 2 pixels... Not much you might think but it sure sticks out ingame!
I've looked at them and fixed them... kinda. I will do them properly when I get time, for now I was busy fixing the pack for 1.3 Beta ¬_¬ Damn timing haha.
Also Ive noticed that ingame also, I looked at the texture and there was nothing there but to be safe I highlighted the areas and deleted them so hopefully thats that done with :smile.gif:

Yeah you're right.
I am not finished with the bed just yet, I just gave it a placeholder while I figure out what to do with it.
It would be good if the beds colour was defined by the colour of wool used to construct it. Because when 1.3 came out the fact it was red really disturbed me because there was literally no explanation as to why it would be red.
So for now I've given it a light blue colour, wooden frame and a photorealistic image of my pillow that is on my bed! I hope you enjoy lying on it :biggrin.gif:
However making a bed inventory icon would have been too premature. The effort of drawing it when I wasn't finished with it wouldn't have been worth the time.
I hope that explains everything :smile.gif:
