I downloaded a texture pack, and also made my own. I put them in ZIPs then placed them in the Texture pack folder.
It shows up when in the texture pack selection menu thing, but the image for it doesn't show, and when I go in-game it still uses the default one. What am I doing wrong?
A lot of the Texture packs out there require you to use xau's HD texture fix to get them to work. There's a huge thread on here and he updates it every time there is an update for minecraft: viewtopic.php?f=1021&t=46173
all you have to do is drag the zip into the texture folder and load up minecraft and it should work... also look inside ur zipped folders it should go directly to the contents of the pack (AKA terrain.png should be showing) not another folder leading to that (I had this problem at one time)
