I've left the links for the 1.4.6 version in the topic for a bit, because this new pack uses the new system. No more Terrain.png!
For some reason the fog in the Nether is red again - might be to do with MCPatcher - and the lava has a funny flow to it.
I really like this Texture Pack, I think that i would use it I think that maybe you should edit the mycelium to difference it a little more about the grass. And i found this now, Isn't really hard, i think, There are 2 textures. I hope that the Textures update soon
And a little Question, Are you allowed to edit the sky colors?
Sorry for my english, I'll use that banner GOOD WORK! LOVE IT! :-( ):
Those 2 textures were added in 13w04a, right after I finished 13w03a!
I have now updated for 13w04a.
I think there is already enough of a difference between Mycelium (left) and Grass (right):
If you download and use MCPatcher you can have green sky! The sunrise and sunset are still red though.
Something is wrong with Nether fog at the moment, but that might be because the new MCPatcher is not finished yet.
I was thinking, Including the new texture system, What about making animated textures in this Pack? It would be awesome, Already it would look pretty cool in a Gameboy TexturePack, Why Not
Been busy! I'll look into them: Animated textures could be cool, but all I can think of is waving wheat, which will need re-drawing to allow horizontal space (water/lava is already animated). For a Pocket Edition I just need to find a complete PE pack to use as a template.
Updated for 1.5, and Created for Pocket Edition 0.6.1!
Various images changed and added, I can never remember what.
I did indeed put in waving wheat crops: Not sure on how it looks, but it's there and it works. No other block/item animations so far.
I don't have the Pocket Edition myself, so if anything looks weird or broken, let me know!
Yes, probably something to do with the lack of patcher. As you can see on the hotbar, the grass texture is white on top, but in-game shades it green for some reason. There's a file in the Desktop version that MCpatcher uses to correct this, and some code for MCpatcher to make the sky green.
Updated for 12w21a!
* Added horses and related UI/items
* Added hardened clay & its colours
* Added Block of Coal & new Charcoal item
* Added Hay block
* Added Name Tag
* Converted CTM textures to new system
* Tweaked Gravel & Lapis Lazuli blocks
* Potato and Baked Potato were the wrong way round - fixed now!
Maybe other things too. Horse armour could be more distinct. The New "missing texture" texture introduced in 13w18a? Can't find it
I've made a start on sounds for CraftBoy, but it'll take ages as there's hundreds of sounds to replace!
Besides, I need to get CraftBoy itself updated to 1.6!
I think that's a side-effect of the new system... they looked OK before because MCpatcher allowed per-character type-widths, and didn't garble everything with a glitch.
Updated for 1.6.2
Moved both packs over to the new resource pack system - tell me if anything's broken (except the shadows, they seem mostly broken)!
I LOVE THIS, but although the nostalgia is killer, the green is kinda killing my eyes. Is there any chance of redoing this so that it would look like a game boy pocket screen? (You know, that silverish kinda black and white.)
And if you aren't planning on doing that, do I have your permission to recolor it for my personal use?
You can do it yourself if you like, but you may go mad changing every single sprite to the same 4 colours!
I have considered making a black & white pack for Minecraft Pocket Edition (which could be kept for regular MC too), but haven't got round to it yet.
Have also considered just releasing one green pack instead of two... I prefer the colours of the Light Pack, but the Dark pack is more accurate. Can't decide which one to keep, or if to make a new colour palatte between the two.
For now, it's trying to differentiate the new flowers, and making a sound pack on the side.
