1.Download the texture pack
2.Put the terrain.zip in your texture packs folder
3.Then go to the bin folder in the .minecraft folder and right click the minecraft.jar file and open with winrar and drag everything in the UI folder in to the jar file.
4.Download MCpatcher and set the texture size from 16X16 to 64X64. check animated fire water and Laval, and make sure that custom water and Laval are unchecked then click patch.
[Make sure you put the UI stuff in the minecraft.jar before patching]

I like the tree rings on your logs. I spent some time trying to draw something like that, but never could get it to look right.
I have to point out all the gymnastics with moving the files around like you describe in your first post isn't necessary. Just put the terrain.png in the same folder as everything else, get rid of the ui folder, zip everything up and use Xau's patcher to install the whole thing.
I wish I saw this pack sooner. I tried the link to Mediafire but it was down...Think I could try it out with a working link? I don't care if it's not updated.

We need more 64x packs around here. LOL
did you patch it with the MCpatcher? if you didn't then it will crash
