I am taking the mob files and changing the cow map and then putting it in a .zip and in my minecraft texture pack file. I then load the game and select my texture pack, but when I go into my singleplayer game, the cow looks exactly the same! what is my problem?
Did you call it exactly as the default calls it? It will not work if you save it as anything other than "cow.png"
it is cow.png and a mob folder. I put that in a zip file. would it effect it if the picture had colors on it other then the ones originally on the map?
You've zipped the wrong thing.
Highlight all your edited folders/pngs.
So, instead of zipping your JungleCraft folder, go into that folder and zip everything in there as JungleCraft.zip
Zip the multiple files/folders, not the source folder.

ok. i will. i also just did the chicken skin and it makes no change either.
