This is without her direct permission but she said I could use it before when I asked her if I could use it. I am guessing she won't mind other promoting her texture pack.

Haha, of course I'm fine with it. I really appreciate it, in fact!
hey, my friends all recently started playing minecraft and are using your (absolutely amazing) texture pack, and i decided to make a "sound pack" to go with it. So i'm curious as to what you'll make the textures for the monsters, maybe if i know i can make it to go with your texture pack or something, but heres what i have so far:
i currently have zombies as the mutant psychos (the really big ones with a shriveled arm), since they kind of seem like that, getting close to try to hit you (and because the normal psycho sound wouldnt extract right). Skeletons are crimson lance well because... they shoot at you. Spiders are spiderants of course. Didnt know what to put creepers as. Since farm animals are docile i kinda just picked a few scythid crawler sounds for the pig, and scythid sounds for the sheep, still borderlands sounds but they arent aggresive or anything. Chicken was a mix of rakk (some kind of clicking-ish sound, hurt sounds) and bloodwing (caw and wingflaps).
other than that when the player gets hurt its mordecai saying "aagghh ****", bow is a "shotgun" but sounds more like a rifle so i guess it works out, arrows have a bullet hit sound, tnt sounds like a longbow grenade
i was planning to make it sort of.... realistic for minecraft if you cant tell, chicken is still chicken instead of claptrap, sheep and pigs arent specific monsters, etc, but i guess since im even asking im thinking of making two like you are or something *shrugs*, i just think it'd be nice if there was sound to go (as best as possible) with your texture pack(s)
going to work on getting the actual borderlands background music in there, and was planning to make records battle music and "aint no rest for the wicked" (<--- can i do that though? the word 'copyright' is bugging me, since im thinking of releasing it....), probably going to change the portal sounds to the fast travel/respawn sounds, going to see if i can change the step sounds to borderlands as well
sorry for the long post but i had a lot to say, keep up the great work :wink.gif:
PS- before anyone starts giving me suggestions or something, i can only replace the specific sounds minecraft has unless i mod the game files (which i dont know how to do), so as much as i'd love to make interacting with a chest play the red chest opening sound, i cant do it atm :/
oh one more thing, if i were planning to release it, would i have to ask gearbox for permission or something? i'd like to know before i do anything.... or something....
now if you'll excuse me, its 5:37am, time to go play borderlands

Here's the current list of known bugs I'm working on for the next update. Anything I'm missing?
Bug list for next update: Cake has gaps (Fixed)
Torch has stray pixels (Fixed)
Furance icons with stray pixels
Armor
Some way to show the max HP and Armor bars
Watch time display
Love the texture pack, but for me, Sandstone is invisible when viewed from above. I have a four story building in Sandstone and you can stand on top of it and see all the way down to the bottom of the building. Funnily enough, viewed from below, Sandstone looks great.
Looks good, I'll definitely download this once it gets finished up
A minor thing I haven't seen mentioned, there are several icons that don't quite 'fit' into their spots on the gui. It's mainly noticeable on the bottom, where they stick out a pixel or so. Not sure if this is something you can really fix or not
Please could someone respond my question? I did this operation a lot of times and it still doesnt' work...
EDIT: now I have tried again and mc patcher stopped at 32%...
If i don't check lava/water etc. it stops at 64%
I only use the patcher without browsing for the texture pack, then after the patcher is done patching the jar file for 64x texture packs, I then insert the files from the texture pack manually into the jar file.

no seriously, i am ^__^
edit: played until 9:30am @[email protected]
Yes, you would need their permission to use anything directly from the game.
Yerp that's a known bug. Should be fixed up by the next update. I think the torch grew itself a pixel somehow in between updates. XD

:sad.gif: maybe my post was overlooked
Looking forward to the watch fix... Thanks for all the hard work on this. I'm almost afraid to ask how many hours you've spent on this!
You're awesome.

Maybe this will work for you too.
