Wait... so you're using the 64x pack? hmm.. Ooo look what I found, seems the Mobs for ALL Packs are the wrong resolution all together :blink.gif: in the vanilla textures, the pig is 64x32 (16x packs)so in theory, the resolution of the 128x pig should be 512x256 when its actually 640x320 which is 10x the vanilla size, not 8xand following the same logic, the 64x pig should be 256x128 as you had in Sphax's pack. BorderCraft is 320x160 (5x instead of 4)Not sure why it still works sometimes and others not, as the resolution is just wrong :huh.gif: probably to do with the way the MCPatcher handles varying resolution packs, as you can have part 64x part 128x packs that work properly, but these are reading as 160x and 80x packs :laugh.gif: Dr.K you will need to recheck the scale of your textures, particularly the ones with the white bug: - Mobs - Signs - Boats - Minecarts - Rain I think - Sun/Moonmake sure that the scale is right, so 8:1 for the 128 pack, 4:1 for the 64 and 2:1 for the 32Seems to effect pretty much all the textures in subfolders except GUI and Armor.Similar to the issue 42&19 had with his fonts :biggrin.gif:EDIT: So it WAS the packs fault.. Just didn't seem like it as a few of us have never had the issue on ny of the packs
I am thinking of making a couple (personal) mods to your pack. Changing the iron block to corrugated metal and modifying the wood planks a bit. I won't release it, but if you request it I may post some screen shots.

Make sure you read the new announcement by the forum admins. It directly effects texture pack artists. We are now REQUIRED to have copyright information on our threads. If we don't our work will be removed. WE have two weeks before they start removing packs. And to make matters even better, the site they link to uses HTML coding which isn't supported by curse.

The difference is in the resolution. 128x is 128pixels by 128pixels. For comparison the default is 16x16, so the 128x pack is 8x higher detailed. The reason for having the lower resolution versions is because not everyones computers can handle the extra high resolution textures, as Minecraft/Java isn't the most efficient platform, and people play Minecraft on laptops that would struggle to play pacman..

ah, you cropped the photo. Gotcha. I am attempting something different for my water animation. I am going to try to use Blender (my 3d design program) to render a bit of flowing water. I can render out each frame as a .png file so this should be interesting.

It's a possibility. The 16x would have to be completely redrawn though.
