only using 32x bit vista home basic
i have increased the ram available to java to 1024mb
also while testing a few workarounds with my cousin i have found that if i move your files into another 128x pack and load that pack up it runs with no problems.
this has made me even more puzzled >.<
So you increased the RAM using the batch file? or another way?
When you say you move the files to another pack, what files are you moving? Would it be just the same if you extracted the .zip and re-packaged it yourself? or are you leaving some of the files from the other pack there?
Side Note:
Only issue I found with the pack (128x at least) the Achievements GUI isn't lined up properly, Dr.K You need to move everything in that .png up so the top is flush with the top of the image :tongue.gif:

yes i increased my ram using the .bat method a while back when i was trying to get bordercraft to work lol.
and when i move the files to another pack i simply open both packs in 2 different winrar windows and systematically replace each .png in the target pack with bordercraft textures.
I think that the grass texture update may have made a problem. On fancy graphics grass looks fine. But on fast graphics, the side of the dirt block isn't the same green used on the top of the block.

Have a look at it yourself.
This has nothing at all to do with the texture pack. It is something that is true for all textures including the default.
If you were to look at the terrain.png you would see that there is a separate sidegrass square that is grey to allow the biome colouring to be applied. Notch decided that this extra processing required to overlay the biome coloured sidegrass was too much for the computers the "Fast" render method is designed for.

Oh Thanks! I see now. Is there anything I can do to fix it rather than changing my graphics?
BorderCraft uses the default Biome Colouring, many packs have their own custom biome gradients like Sphax's seems to.
GeruDoku looks nearly the same, but the difference could be down to the grey used on the base texture. If you use a lighter grey, the green will be more vivid.
I think the grey works as a luminosity filter for the gradient overlay

That's too bright to be normal... The colour of the grass is meant to match the colour of the trees, and seemingly, GeruDoku seems to look more normal to me..

Personally I like that the trees aren't the exact same green as the grass.. Since when did trees in real life have the same coloured foliage as the ground? If you don't like it, copy the grasscolour png from another pack?
Unfortuantely not really.. Unless you change the Biome Colouring image to be all the one green.

I'll probably mess with the biome gradients soon. It looks like fun. :wink.gif: I should have the latest bug fixes up tonight. So no more pixels or cases of the bed-stupides. XD
Nice! Especially to be compared to something like LB or John Smith. Discovered two things reading that article. I actually kinda like jolicraft, and I still don't like LB's...at all...

Welcome back from your hiatus! Any chance you could work on the paintings soon? I think that's the main thing you're yet to do.
Update is go!
I haven't had a chance to finish up the paintings yet. :/ That's the thing I'm currently on. I mainly wanted to get this update in since there were some obvious visual problems caused by the new main version. I can only load Minecraft with my 128 texture pack and nothing else. Not even the default version! It's weird! So next update should be paintings and font! Yay!

Are you patching the game right? I remember 42&19 was adding the Pack to the MCPatcher mod list and that caused issues. Are you patching the game just with the HD tex and HD font support? Then selecting the packs from the pack list?
It could be something silly like that :tongue.gif:
No huge rush on the paintings, just checking if they were on their way. This update is more of an emergency update to fix bugs lol

Sorry, but the Biome wasn't that bright. And I know that trees aren't the same colour as real like grass, but in all the other different biome colours, the Tree Leaves match with the Grass.
No idea what Dr. K did in the last update to change the foliage.

I guess I'll just take a look at the patcher and make sure I didn't miss any changes in the versions or procedure. This problem didn't crop up till 1.7.

I didn't do anything to the foliage. >_> Must be gremlins. I don't think I put it in the notes but I did fix the texture pack label images as well.

Worst comes to worst, next weekend I'll fix all the main bugs and host a temp update just until Dr.K gets back on her feet.
I'm starting to be a bit concerned she hasn't been on since she said the update was almost ready. But I assume work/life just got busy
