This is one of the only texture packs I use regularly (I use several different ones) and I cant figure this out but what are the shears? They look kind of like a brush or handle...
LOVE THIS, since i have borderlands and every expansion and add on in history ^.^
but im using this with 1.66 cuz my other mods arent updated yet... and uhhh whats with my bed? the sides are gone...
There was a change in 1.7 that moved the textures for the sides of the beds and cakes. So if you are using the updated version of this pack with 1.6 that is why.

I post a lot as this is my all time #1 favourite texture pack, and I know that Dr.K has a lot of other things going on which can mean she sometimes gets too busy to reply to here.
Also, it means people get quicker answers as I'm in Australia so I'm awake while the US and UK are sleeping :biggrin.gif:
Plus I like helping make this pack the best it can be :smile.gif:
first and foremost, love the pack.
but, quick question; how come i only have half a door and half a bed?
did i screw up the installation or something?
That's odd.. does it happen with other custom HD texture packs? If not try redownloading from the OP link, I just tested all 3 and ignoring the texture shift on the bed (see previous page) I have the top and bottom of both the beds and door.
+1 on how awesome this pack is. Suits the game very well and is excellently executed.
Unfortunately I've just updated to 1.7_3 and can't seem to get Bordercraft to work now.
Was fine with 1.7_2, but now when I select the texture pack I get the black screen of death.
When testing Minecraft in mcpatcher, the Buffer Overflow Exception error is the problem, so deleting the options text file fixes it(and I can play), but leaves me with no Bordercraft :unsure.gif:
So, any ideas?
I've re-downloaded Bordercraft and restarted several times. I'm running a dual-boot Win7 and Ubuntu 11.04, I tried this on Ubuntu and will test on Win7 in the next few minutes. Again, was running fine on both OS' before the 1.7_3 patch.
Cheers in advance.
Just confirmed on Win7 now, exactly the same issue.

If you delete the Options text file to fix it, makes me think, are you setting the texture pack back to default before updating?
Once the game launches successfully make sure the default textures are selected, quit the game, relaunch, but at the update news screen click the "options" button and choose "Force Update". This will download a fresh copy of the entire game (saves and texturepack folders and other user specific files aren't affected). Once you reach the game menu, close minecraft, re-patch, and now try the custom textures.
Whenever you update, always make sure you don't have a HD texture pack active, as it will try to load it before you can re-patch, and this seems to break the jar so you cant patch it unless you redownload it.
EDIT: Also what version of the patcher are you using? 2.1.0_2?
EDIT 2: Just tested on my Mac at work and works totally fine for me.. (Never had the game patched before so mimicking a "Force Update")
Also, I haven't updated at home yet on Win7, but I can 99% guarantee you it will work fine
EDIT:You my friend, are a huge help. Thank you for this, I'll make sure to update without the patch in future.
Glad to help :smile.gif: it's not so much updating with the patch applied, it's when you have a custom texture pack selected that causes issues, as it will try to load the pack before the game is patched.
All you need to do next time is when it asks you to update, choose not now and select the default textures, then relaunch and update.
You will of course need to repatch, but that takes 5 seconds :biggrin.gif:
It looks more like a Paintbrush to me. D:

Beds and sleep are overrated anyways.

Of course it is! the minor updates 1.7.x don't change anything to do with the items and their textures, they are simply bug fixes.
When the game changes major revisions, eg 1.6 > 1.7 then thats when items are added or changed.
Just download and use the previous version in the OP that is for your version of the game, until you choose to update
This has already been identified and will be fixed next update :smile.gif: thanks for your input none the less
You post a lot in this thread :smile.gif:
Alright thanks :smile.gif:
This is more than OK...
It's EXCELLENT!
