I agree, I really don't like the cobblestone look that so many people use for glowstone.
I 3rd that, I ended up making my own Lantern texture for it, as they work well for making street lights as well as house lighting. (brighter and more attractive than torches)
could you also change the little pine/fir tree texture to a fern? I read that it's supposed to be fern rather than a pine tree, even though 99.9% of tex packs make it the little tree. It only appears in rainforest biomes so it makes sense. :smile.gif:
EDIT: This thing right here:
Yeah I think someone mentioned that to me earlier. It looks like a little pine tree in the original so that's what I thought it was. XD It will be fixed.

You're really making a 32x version???
Thank you so much. My comp is so crappy it crashes when I try to run 64x, and this texture pack is amazing.
And maybe you should change the glowstone to a more lanterny thing. But I don't know anything in Borderlands like that, but then again I've only played Borderlands a few times.

I think the downside to making the glowstone look like some sort of street light is then it makes the nether look kind of weird. I like those glowstone texture changes, but I prefer my nether to look natural, personally.

I don't go to the nether much as I mainly build stuff. So it's not so bad. I wasn't saying to make it into thatfor this pack, just agreed that the cutesy glowstome looks a bit off with the green tinge it has.
That said, the way I did my lightstone actually looks kinda ok in the nether
Thanks for making a 32 bit :smile.gif:
That will help a lot with the lag!
Keep up the good work, Ashley!
I've never seen any fps change between standard and 256x. Only noticeable difference I've seen is it takes a bit longer to boot up the game. Fps stays consistent for me on 3 different systems regardless of pack size even in high lag areas full of redstone and on chunk borders :/

are any of those 3 systems consumer grade laptops? (ie integrated GPU, midrange CPU, 32bit OS)
i'm kinda wondering...how do you make texture packs like these...i mean i've made my own but i just brightened stuff
It depends. The work the Dr. K has done is exceptional and used mostly photoshop from what I understand. Most if not all of it is hand drawn. There are some HD packs out there, Primarily the realistic ones, were all the do is upsize the default textures and slap some photos on them. That is kinda frustrating to me personally.

I played with this texture pack using the mod Mo' Creatures and I loved this texturepack it was just amazing to use it was a new minecraft era with the textures haha but seriously it was one of the bes texture packs I have used. :smile.gif:
[font="Comic Sans MS"]That stray pixel thing is weird. For one I have never seen it and I cannot, for the life of me find it in the terrain.png.
Are you using 64x textures? They're definitely there on torches, full grown wheat and Spruce saplings. They may be hard to see in the terrain.png but if you know where to go, a simple erase and done. It takes me all of 30 seconds to remove them...which is why I find it weird that they even still exist.

Ah, I am using the 129x. That may be why I can't find them.

Using the Cartoon Shaders Mod to expand the BorderCraft Black Outline look:

Make sure you are using v2.1.0_2 of the patcher
