This might be the second time in this thread someone said that something taken directly from Borderlands didn't fit with the aesthetic. The other, I believe, was someone saying the menu format didn't fit. How odd.
Menu format doesnt fit? nothing has been done to the menus.. lol.. only change is the buttons have been upscaled
but regarding the sig images, i had a memory lapse, and PMd greyfawx with my apology.
Is it just me or is anyone else lagging...a lot.
Im like 7 fps and I have no mods on just the texture pack and I put the render distance to Tiny and put performance to most fps...??
How good is your machine? CPU/RAM/Graphics?
Are you using the x64 or the x128 version? x128+ packs are known to be laggy on lower level systems, try disabling custom animations in the Patcher.
Run the game at the default windowed size rather than full screen, see if that helps
Try setting FPS to PowerSaver, should still be able to reach 40FPS
I run the x128 version full screen at 1080p and i can let it go up to a steady 250+ fps, so the pack is more than capable of running well. (ok its an OCd i7 system, but shh)
Also, my Fiance runs it on a Laptop at 1080p with more than playable FPS (over 60 im pretty sure, doesnt have fraps)
So either your, CPU or Graphics are a likely culprit

I did that, but Im still lagging. Not as much, but still pretty bad. It makes my game unplayable.
Help?

Ayy Click the egg Please! Dont let it end up like my first egg!!!
I am also noticing some lag and this is not due to my system (that I built myself). I think that it might have something to do with the server maintainability earlier today.

Just to add, Im on singleplayer and I dont think its my computer because it can handle texturepacks. I mean, the only texture pack I ever had problems with were Bordercraft (btw, this is the first time it worked), and LB photorealism.

The person in question did not like the high-tech holodeck appearance of the inventory, crafting, chest, etc screens. They said it didn't fit with the feel. I don't mean the Escape menu and options screens.
Similarly, Lilith is about as true to Bordercraft as anything else; even the painting icon has a Claptrap on it, or at least, it did at one point. Certainly not just some fantasy girl.

I have had a bit more lag since this most recent version, but that may well be due to Minecraft, not the texture pack. A LOT of people had lag issues with the most recent update; Bordercraft is more taxing on the system, and while it might not have been evident before, the new version, coupled with the graphically intensive Bordercraft, may have put a hold on your system.
This texture pack is beyond great, I really like it.
The only suggestion I would have is to look over the netherack texture, the blocks of netherack seem to line up rather strangely but it doesnt worry me too much :smile.gif:
It actually makes me want to reinstall borderlands :DD

first of all I already retracted my "fantasy girl" statement, and messaged greyfawx appropriately.
I actually quite like the GUI in the pack, it's not too complex in detail, as is the rest of the pack. And I am more than familiar with it being along the lines of the borderlands GUI.
The only reason I questioned the girl is I didn't remember her from the game. Having not finished it, and having not played it for over a year.
Hi, I started using this texture pack yesterday, and i downloaded the updated one today and found a possible graphic bug or something you didn't spot. Not allowed to post pic, so link to picture here: Graphical Bug?
EDIT: I noticed this 'Grey rectangle?' only appears on the torch.

End of discussion please.
I was merely responding to your question. No offense intended. =)

I'll definitely look into it. I don't think the nether textures have gotten enough attention.

Yeah that's the infamous stray torch pixel. I keep getting rid of it and it still pops up. I will not be defeated.
How is the work on the paintings coming along? I say that you mentioned you were thinking of working on those soon. Can't wait to see what you come up with. I think it would be amazing if you could get the original concept art for Borderlands.

Right now I'm looking up concept art and official stuff images for the paintings. My plan is to do something much cooler in the near future, but I think that there at least needs to be something more Borderlands for paintings as quickly as possible since they stand out now. :3
So if concerning the 128x pack, would painting textures be 128x128 per square?
Edit: Heh, just goes to show you what happens when I try to make my own art. I have great ideas, dozens of potential paintings, but lack the artistic talent to make them! What a shame.

The paintings are set up on one texture, much like the terrain texture, and they're all different sizes. So some are 128 and there are a few bigger than that.
I suggest you actually take your time with the paintings and make them into functional things like all the different signs from the game and what not. Like warning sings, and decorative things, and those cloth doors from the bandit houses, and wavy metal plates (I actually suggest you make the iron block into metal plates) and other stuff like that. It'd be cooler than just concept art.

Are you talking about the screenshots on the op? Those are pretty old. I've revisited the bars to fix them.
