All the stairs placed before the 1.5 update looked normal but after using 1.5 all of my stairs have black on the steps. Only the ones I place now are black but the ones placed before the update look normal.
The lighting on the stairs are broken :/ it's a bug and might be fixed with the next update. I had the same problem and then I turned on smooth lighting in the options and now its fine.
after finding this post i starting messing with the lighting in my house with smooth lighting on...cause my house is roughed with stairs. if i put a torch (anything really) near them it makes it dark. i think they are trying to make it so the sun does not shine through them anymore.
You need to be running the latest version ofMC Patcher, as specified in the original post.
Remember, you need to keep the patcher updated too! Check for an updated version at least as frequently as you do for your texture packs.
I have the most recent patcher (2.0.1) and the most recent Bordercraft version and I still experience crashes. While I have noticed the crashes can be random, it seems to most frequently happen when I interacted with a chest or crafting table.
I've tried two other HD packs and neither caused my game to crash. The other two were Misa (64x) and Woocraft (128x) in case that helps you any.
Any help would be appreciated, but for now I'll just used a different texture pack. Hopefully whenever Minecraft is patched again I won't have this problem as Bordercraft is my favorite texture pack.
P.S. I've also tried deleting my /bin folder and starting the game, then patching it with MCPatcher 2.0.1 -- that didn't help any. Nor did changing the Java heap size to 768mb.
Been using this texture pack for quite some time now. Seen issues, seen them get fixed and seen lots of progress.
I read your to-do list and everything else on your actual website and I'd just like to say, great work! Keep it up man. #1 texture pack for me. :smile.gif:
If you need any help testing anything, etc, just let me know.

"Childhood is throwing rocks at **** you shouldn't be throwing rocks at"
"Friends are like snowflakes-if you pee on them, they disappear."
I hope I'm not repeating someone but I noticed some white spots on some items that shouldn't be there.
On the torches there are white dots floating in the box area as well you can see them when you wave the torch around
(64X64)
I think I saw a similar white dot on the furnace progress bar.
Aside from that this pack is awesome although the sheep face is a bit horrifying
EDIT; also if you look through the window of an open door you can see through where you should see solid door
This texture pack has forced me to unplug my computer because it causes minecraft to crash, and use up every bit of CPU and memory on my computer, and I have a good computer, it is not a piece of crap. It caused my minecraft to crash before MC patcher could send an error message. I'm not mad at whomever made this, I just want to bring it to their attention.
Texture packs do not cause crashes. Improper installation or other conflicts are to blame.
A texture pack only changes the way the game looks, not how it works. If you truly have a good computer, then it's down to user error or a mod conflict with the patcher.

"Don't know why you should feel that there's something to learn... it's just a game that you play."
for some reason once i installed this texture pack my mine craft has become too "laggy" to play, i love this art style so if anyone has any idea of how i could fix the lag issue that would be great

You are VERY aptly named. They are in the same original post from which you downloaded the pack.
Maybe "blinddog" would work better.
