@Dr. Kalashnikov
With the release of MineCraft 1.4 coming next week I'm sure we'll have an updated version of BorderCraft not too far behind it (I hope not too far because now I can't play MineCraft without it =D )
Two Questions,
With the updated BorderCraft will there be any updated blocks or new stuff that you might of been working on?
Any chance at an art pack? Although I'm sure you'll have in the more like Borderlands version an art pack with CL4P-TP propaganda posters, and the wanted posters of the Vault Hunters was wondering if you had any of your own art under the same drawing style as borderlands that we could see coming for BorderCraft?
Just wondering, carry on with your awesome work :smile.gif:

I've been scouring the Web for appropriate art so that I can make an art pack to use when I'm using the Bordercraft textures, but so far I haven't found quite enough to fit the proportions needed. If/when I do, I'll be glad to post it up here in case Dr. K wants to use it.

I downloaded Bordercraft on my other computer and had no problems with it but when i put it on this computer and went to texture packs and clicked it my minecraft crashed and wont start up anymore, I've uninstalled the pack and minecraft and just reinstalled minecraft and it still wont work. What do?

The easiest fix is to create a copy of your saves somewhere else on your computer, delete your .minecraft folder and run the launcher again. It'll re-download the game fresh in no time and you can try again from there.
First, I have to say this is amazing! I loved borderlands and this just makes me love minecraft again. Though I hadn't realized that the patcher turns the default texture into this, which caused some problems. But I eventually got it to work and I love it.
Will anyone step up to the plate, and make a 16x16 version of this amazing texture pack. The reason I'm asking this is because, every time I use an HD texture pack I have to keep my render distance on Tiny or I get black screen'd. I know someone made a 16x16 Doku, so what about this pack that is 2x better than Doku? (In my Opinion)
IT RUINED MY GAME!!!!! I LOST MY SAVES!!!!!! AHHHHH!!!! WHAT I DO NOW :sad.gif:
The only way something like this could ruin your saves is if you deleted your save files/minecraft folder while trying to install it. There shouldn't have been any interaction between the texture pack and your saves folder.
so yeah, I installed the texture pack and did everything but whenever I load a world it will start up but then shortly after the screen turns black. Can anyone help
I see that the terrain.png includes textures for WildGrass, but not water lillies! The WildGrass mod lets you put flowers on the water to create lillies, but there is no texture for them and all I get is a purple square where it should be. To try and fix this I made a quick texture for lily and lilypad myself (dl here, it's next to the cake), but they still don't show up.
Another thing, because grass is recolored in-game, shouldn't the textures for grass and WildGrass be in greyscale?
I know I'm just nitpicking, but I really do enjoy this pack, it's one of my favorite ones on the forum.

I had this same problem, tried reinstalling Minecraft but the problem persisted. After scouring the internet for clues I found a temporary solution: Make sure you have a texture pack other than the default one in your texturepacks folder, then open options.txt in your main Minecraft folder. Change skin:Default to skin:<texturepack.zip> then run the game. This is NOT a problem with the texture pack itself but with the patcher (I think). I think what is happening is that the default textures are still trying to load at 64x64 or 128x128 (depending on what you patched) and, for this reason, the game crashes. What may possibly fix the problem (I haven't tested this) is opening the patcher and clicking the unpatch button.
Hope this helps!
I have an suggestion, you could use the GLSL Shaders mod to get a cel-shaded like effect, which is used in the "Minecraft 4 Kids" to good effect. Since Borderlands is like...well, cel-shaded, I think this would enhance your already great texture pack.
Can you make non-HD versions too? I have an average computer (Default Textures with Normal distance fast graphics)
I love this texture pack so much and it breaks my heart that I can't use it without lag, may you make 32x32 and 16x16 so I can play? I will bounce of walls and maybe eat a few shrooms if you do.

My Favorite Texture Pack List:

Honestly I think this pack would lose far too much detail in a 16x pack, even a 32x pack, but of course I have nothing to do with this pack other than enjoying it so so much in my game.
There are so many people in this topic accusing this texture pack of ruining their game. The only reason anything could have gone wrong is because you didn't follow directions correctly.
Could you make this a 32x32 texturepack? i think everyone is having problems with the Hi-Res.
No problems here what so ever. Many people just don't follow the instructions and as such that is why it black screens on them. If they follow the instructions and their computer is capable of handling 64x or 128x graphics then they should not have any problems.
