1.4 works for me just can't see cookies, also only thing i don't like about this TP is the sandstone it looks ugly and it makes me not want to use it as a building type block. apart from that i love this TP
Everybody has their own tastes. Since the introduction of sandstone and the sandstone in this texture pack , it's pretty much all that I use to build my buildings now, sandstone or brick, both excellent in my opinion, but as mentioned everybody has their own tastes and style.
Dr. Kalashnikov has to update the texture pack to include cookies and wolves, otherwise those two textures won't work quite right. Its still a little soon to be expecting mods and texture packs to all be updated, the patch hasn't even been out for a day.
This pack doesn't work for me. when the patcher patches it and i hit test minecraft and play singleplayer it white screens. If i'm not in the patcher and i click singleplayer from the minecraft.exe it shows the world for a second then black screen.
I'm using this pack just fine in MC 1.4. The wolves will, of course, be default (unless you copy better ones into the pack) and no cookies (unless you modify the items.png) but nothing changed in the terrian.png with the latest update.

So you mean that with the old tp installed, the wolves will interact with you? I just can't get them to respond to anything with it installed (with McPatcher) =/
The wolf textures are independent of any texture pack that does not include them. So, if a TP doesn't reskin the wolves, the game will use the default texture - because it has not been overwritten. It's not like the bed issue - which depended on the terrain.png. Mob skins are individual files in a separate folder.
That's not a problem - I was using 32x wolves from one pack with another 64x pack, just fine. Make sure you're taming the wolves with bones first, or they'll be just like any other passive mob and won't interact with you.
I'm still not sure why anyone has the misconception that texture packs affect gameplay at all, or the ability of the game to run. So far, every issue I've seen of that sort has come down to an improper installation.

I've tried with both tamed and wild wolves, but the tamed ones were sitting, can that be the reason it doesn't work?

No idea why you are having a problem - I just logged into my game with the 64x version of Bordercraft and visited my wolf kennel. Of course they have the default textures since I haven't yet updated them with anything else (skags would look sweet, Dr. K!).
Right clicked on one of the seated wolves and it hopped up and walked to the other side of the kennel. Right clicked on him again and he sat. Sounds like it's working fine. Not sure what could be causing your issue.

If you forget about art and it's just a game, then there should be no problem using any other texture pack that was designed for 32x that runs on your computer.
A lot of this texture pack would be little more than a blurred mess at 16x.
I haven't tried scaling down the pack to 32 to see how it looks but I'm pretty darn sure that 16 won't transfer. When I get time, maybe I'll post a couple screen shots of what the down rez looks like. :3
EDIT: I've also included in the zip package the current Patcher just so you do not have to download.
Thank you, good sir. Integrated graphics made it impossible for me to use the 128x128 or 64x64 without a ****-ton of lag (unless I toggled the F3 menu which gave me a huge FPS boost, for some odd reason, but then I had to put up with that stupid graph) but this 32x32 version runs fairly smoothly for me, enough for me to tolerate. Once again, thank you.

Hmm.. I use 128x128, could that be the problem? Besides that i used my old download (the newest version, but not dl'ed after March 31st.)
I'll try out 64x64 now =) (What's the difference between 128x128 and 64x64 btw? Is it the resolution?

Yes use the beta MCPatcher that is currently being worked on and lets you use the texture selection panel.
