Hello all,
I have been working very hard on a new texture pack.
I was going to have it finished today but the new update has set me back a little bit.

So here are some screen shots to tide you over.
Please feel free to suggest names because I can't think of anything other than "Vibrantcraft or "Miromecraft" ha.


From left to right:Stone, Dirt, Sand, Gravel, Clay

Can't believe I forgot the cobblestone first time around, here is a lot to make up for it.

So now I wonder, if you've looked at this and thought it was either good or bad why have 150 people looked at it without comment?

I love how the textures look up close, but I don't like the obvious tiling in the distance.

I especially like your wooden planks texture.

Hmmm other than trial and error...

Not bad... it needs a lot of work. Its kinda choppy looking but it has potential. Work on it a bit, and particularly on tiling.

By the by, I would name this Simplixel, its kinda cartoony, cute and simple.

A good program to use is called Texture Maker... but I think its shareware.

Do you use photoshop or paint.net? I believe they have seamless mapping filters. I know for sure that GIMP does.

Looks good, I agree with the tiling issue but the textures themselves look really great! Definitely keeping an eye on this
