I like squids. I like ink sacs. I like black wool. But what I didn't like was how they blended into the water -shakes fist at camouflage- and how their herp derp eyes, while funny, did not fit in with my texture pack. Also their headcrab mouths were very strange. So I made them red, slimy, replaced the mouth with a beak, added suction cups to the tentacles, and gave them eyes on the sides of their heads with elongated pupils.

[*:1eu007jh]Go into \.minecraft\bin
[*:1eu007jh]Open minecraft.jar with something like WinRAR
[*:1eu007jh]Go into the mob folder and replace existing squid.png with new one
Note: One "side" of the tentacle equals two painted tentacle faces--I can't paint each of them individually. But since squids like to spin clockwise whenever they swim (they do, don't they?), it should look like the suction cups are on the "palms" of their tentacles. Unless you get a mod' that makes them swim counterclockwise.
