This texture pack sticks closely to the default color scheme, but uses the geometrical patterns of medieval Moorish, Persian and Arab architecture on many of the crafted blocks. Many natural blocks are also subtly based on the "Cairo pentagonal" tiling pattern. Most textures are designed to tile seamlessly, and work best with BetterLight; the side-grass texture is also designed to improve the look of BetterGrass.
Other features:
[*:1cj56kqp]Themed paintings
[*:1cj56kqp]"Vibrating" block damage animation
[*:1cj56kqp]Sandstone with carved relief for walls, ceiling, and floor
[*:1cj56kqp]Glass has appearance of wrought iron tracery
[*:1cj56kqp]Half-blocks with colorful tile patterns look gray from afar
[*:1cj56kqp]Sand has ripples; obsidian has luster; gravel has depth; clay is sand-embedded
[*:1cj56kqp]Pine foliage has brown branches; birches have "stands" of multiple trunks
[*:1cj56kqp]Cake has pistachio nuts and rose petals!
I'm detecting moderate traces of off topic in this thread
Better run before Juze gets here and starts banning people and throwing color coded moderator edits on everyone like a six year old girl with colored sharpies.
Every time that someone on the support forums doesn't say anything after I tell them a possible solution, I assume that they are having too much fun enjoying their fixed Minecraft to reply.
Aw man, being middle eastern myself, this one really strikes a chord with me. A good one, mind you. :smile.gif:
Mm, cake with pistachios..
Er, sorry, where was I..? -Oh, right! I really love how everything tiles! Absolutely wonderful! Do you have any links to where one could learn to do similar tiling? I'm personally working on a slightly arabian-style texture pack as well. Focusing more on floral spirals and such though. -And I'm afraid not nearly as elaborate as this!
But anyways, good luck! :smile.gif: I'll be sure to keep this awesome pack in my bookmarks!
Edit: I just realized, why haven't more people noticed this pack?! Egads. I'm definitely tossing in a big shoutout to you when I publish my own.

Edit: I don't seem to be getting the nice patterns with some of the blocks, though.
