I like this texture pack a lot but i was wondering how to change the skin it gives you.
In the zip there is a folder called "mobs", and in there is a file called char.png. Extract that, then apply it as your skin. This goes for all texture packs that have humanoid skins, just grab the pngs from the zip.
I absolutely love this pack, it's awesome.
Just 2 Requests:
1. Please add gunpowder, it's invisible and is basically the only thing stopping me from using this pack every day.
2. Stone swords look like shovels to me... I don't know if it is meant to be this way but the diamond sword looks normal.
That's all i've got to say. GREAT work!

I agree. I also feel like the nether blocks could use a total overhaul. The lightstone looks like a sponge. I'd like to use it to build, but it just looks so bad. The netherrack also looks a bit cartoony for this pack. Soulsand is perfect, and so is almost everything else. I still love your work.

i have discovered that if i use the compass then it changes directions while i am trying to use it!
not that helpful really because it depends on the way you face and you dont always face the same way lol

1. Added in The16pRPG v1.10
2. Stone swords are actually supposed to be stone hammers. Like, who's ever heard of a sword made of stone?

Good call with the lightstone, I agree. I'll see what I can do.
UPDATE: Updated main post with screenshots, features, and 1.2 release.
hey i like your mod alot! i wanted to ask why does the grass mod does not work for me?
also how do i get the custome water in your jolicraft? i am just asking by the why awsome
pack!
I downloaded it on a whim during a texture pack binge, and I have to say this is one of the prettiest texture packs I've ever used. Applying it with mcpatcher made it even better! I love the palette, it really livens up worlds that i haven't been as enthusiastic to play on. Overall, I've found my new default textures :smile.gif:
I love the pack. I do have some minor gripes but I am personally working on replacing those or changing them. I loved the original doku and used gerudoku for a while but got tired of having to patch. I hope you keep updating this and maybe include some alternates for some textures.

Grass mod? you mean wildgrass? Yeah wildgrass sometimes doesn't update right way when a new patch comes out. Always check the last few pages of the thread to keep track. And you can get the custom water by using MCPatcher to apply the texture pack instead of using the in-game texture patcher. Let me know if you have any problems.

Nice. Yeah it is a really great go-to pack. Works well enough with the in-game texture selector. That's why I used it for so long. Enjoy!

Very good! If you have any contributions or improvements to offer the pack I'd love to see them. And I'll definitely keep the pack updated as new content emerges, and I'll work on the weak parts in my spare time.

if the clay bricks were similar to those from the Jolicraft texture pack it would be perfect!! or just a little colour in them.
Yeah they're pretty grey considering how red the bricks look. I like the overall texture but I may change it a bit.

This is really cool. I was wondering if you were able to have a version with flowers in the foliage? Like the original :smile.gif:
I hope I haven't missed it in some obvious place like with gerudoku lol.
I changed the flower colour to red & yellow to match the new dye system. It didn't seem right to be extracting red dye from green bushes. I tried to come up with something that was faithful to the doku aesthetic but still worked with the new dye system.

I think cloth.png is supposed to be cloth_1.png btw otherwise it reverts to default leather armour.
Doh! Stupid mistake, thanks for pointing that out. I'll fix that in the next release.
hmm. this is lovely. its great being able to switch to the wonderful PRG pack, and not have to keep patching minecraft. gret work
Yeah this is a great go-to pack for that. Enjoy!

Lol, I didn't notice you made this masterpiece. I know Jolicraft, but not this one.
Very nice pack as well. I really like your work.
Actually I didn't make it, I just picked it up and added the missing parts & my own additions. It's the pack I used before I started work on Jolicraft. But the previous contributor decided to discontinue it, so I'm just keeping it updated with the future releases. I still toss it on every now and then. Totally different feel from Jolicraft.

I find it amazing that you dedicate so much time towards both of your texture packs ( this and Jolicraft) and the standard to which they are made is outstanding!
Thanks Andre!
Well to be honest Jolicraft gets most of my attention. But I am working on some tweaks & a few small additions to this pack which I'll release shortly. I'd love to make some RPG mob skins someday, but that'll have to wait a bit.
I don't know if this is an issue with just me, or if it's the texture pack itself, but the still water doesn't seem to be animated; it just sits still. I have yet to figure it out. :\
(Love this texture pack as well as Jolicraft, 16p is my preferred resolution when it comes to texture packs, and I think that this is the most well done Doku's RPG texture pack out there.)
Edit: Another question: What world/server did you take that picture that shows off the boat and displays a dock town and a waterfall on the far left? It looks increasingly awesome-ful every time I look at it. , I most certainly do approve.
Any chance of a non-media fire download (e.g. MCXC.net or PlanetMinecraft)? I say this because I can't use mediafire, but I am looking to collect a series of high-quality 16p alternatives to JoliCraft and the Default textures. (starting with jolicraft because, hey, how CAN that water clash?).
Agreed, that Media Fire link is broken for me and waiting for like five minutes won't work. Please?
"1.10 - added missing icons (don't know how they got lost before, sorry about that!)
1.9 - 1.3 update - beds & redstone repeaters, wires"
I don't think patching progression works like that. After 1.9, it would move to 2.0. 1.10 is the same as 1.1. Perhaps this latest patch could be called 1.9.1, since it was more of a minor correction than anything. Just letting you know.(:
I love all of your texture packs and your art, man! You're a fantastically well-rounded artist.
I love this pack! I strongly dislike any texture packs that are not 16x16. It doesn't feel like minecraft to me when its 32x32 or even higher.
This is a very minor thing, but custom armor icons would be great! The original ones, in my opinion, don't match the feel of the texture pack and their corresponding textures themselves.
