i have discovered that if i use the compass then it changes directions while i am trying to use it!
not that helpful really because it depends on the way you face and you dont always face the same way lol
I'm trying to reply to your PM Andre, but the forum is not giving me the usual confirmation message when I send the reply, so I don't know if it's going through or not. I'm just going to post it here.
Well, if Mruqe runs his own Linux webserver he could just do the following:
1. Set us up with our own user and FTP accounts so we could upload to the server. We would only have FTP permissions for the texture pack release folder, of course.
2. He could create a new user group, make that group the owner of the download page HTML file, then add our user account to that group. This would effectively make us part-owner of that html file (along with his own admin user if he added it to the same group) and we would have full access to that file. To make changes to the download page, we would login through SSH and use nano or similar.
These two steps would provide an easy-to-implement solution that is both secure for him and easy to use for us. Of course, this is all based on assumption. If his website is hosted through a service like GoDaddy or similar, there's really no good way for him to give us access unless it's a multi-user hosting plan.
(If you haven't figured it out already, I do I.T. / Admin for a living :biggrin.gif: )

The textures are quite amazing, but I can't seem to get the armor to show up on my character. The armor points appear, but not the armor itself. Is it because I'm using a custom skin from skindex? And how do I restore the default--that is, the default replacement provided in this pack? Thanks in advance for any help you can give. :smile.gif:
Edit: I just tried again, this time with a skin from the same user who made the armor, and still nothing. This is most distressing.

I believe once you change the default skin of your character it no longer allows you to use the skin of the texture pack. However, if you want to use the skin from this pack you can just open the zip, open the 'mob' folder, and in there is a file called char.png. Extract this file and upload it to your minecraft profile and you're set :smile.gif:
I'm having troulbe downloading the pack, is it just my comp or is there something wrong with mediafire?
I click on the download latest version link, it takes me to mediafire where i click "Click here to start download" and then it just freezes on "your download is starting".

Anyone know whats up?
Works fine when I download it. I think the problem is on your end.
I can't use this for some reason, though I can use other packs just fine. The icon turns gray in the pack selection screen. I assume it's because it isn't for the newest version of minecraft though. I'll wait for the pack's update :3

Any updates?
Yeah I can't live without it.
Happy to oblige a fellow dude.

Try this: Instead of clicking "click here to start your download", right click that link and select "copy link address", then just paste the address in the URL bar. (here's the link http://download115.mediafire.com/6v5jfjfs66kg/qx5353srni44b1p/The16pRPG_1.7.zip)
