I've been using this great spiral-esque Texture pack that I got off a friend. I don't know the creator, so I decided to update it for 1.2 by myself. Everything I updated is just dandy, except for now almost all my torches, ladders, and anything that doesnt have a background is retaining their white back ground. It looks like this:
Also here's the terrain .png:
Do any of you guys might know whats up with this? I've already tried deleting the white and also trying interlaced/normal, with no luck. Please help! I still want to use this Pack, it's really awesome.
You probably saved it as the wrong file type at some point.
Purple items is probably that you're using the old terrain file? or not editing everything you need to in the new one.
Just use the magic wand to delete the white around the torches and such then save again as a png.

See, that's my problem right now, I have no idea what the texture pack is named or where my friend got it, so I cant re download it again :/

I'm also using Photoshop. Can it not handle the transparency?
I'm having the same problem but some of my items are purple.
If Photoshop can handle transparency, why is it still doing it after my alterations?
