Yeah, so. I'm making a texture pack based off TF2, though going through and thinking of it all myself wont really help the process much. So, what I want you guys to do is sit back and make some suggestions! You guys are snazy like that, ain't ya? Ya sure are!

Alright! I got some work done on stuff, and decided just to make a small release of the BLU Team version of what I've got done so far. It isn't much though, don't expect anything drastic. Just changed the picks and axes(Except the gold ones.), the golden sword, the bow, sulphur, the TNT skin, and the icon for TNT.

And remember, this is just to let you guys see what I've done so far, it is not the finished project, it is still being worked on!
For paintings you could get away with using some of the portraits from Mann Manor, or various stylings of the game logo. Glowstone or Gold could be Australium(Glowstone was actually called Australium by PCGamer[I think] in the Halloween update preview). The Sandman would make a good wooden sword.

Are you using the alpine maps as a reference for grass and most of the natural stuff?
[*:2u10qq03]Iron blocks would work as the sheet metal siding on most buildings, that'd give people incentive to use iron as a building material for once(I don't because most packs make them look weird).
[*:2u10qq03]Make Pigs into Pig Medics that drop small Health bottles as uncooked pork, then cook 'em into medium health kits as cooked pork.
[*:2u10qq03]The Eyelander, Scotsman's Skullcutter, and Claidheamh Mòr make obvious replacements for swords.

There's a lot of healing items to replace, so I'll probably end up making some of my own. Like a small health pack kit, with a few little bottles instead of just one. I'm pretty sure the Golden Apple will be the Max Health kit, But there's also the cake to think about which might become a medium kit, or maybe The Sandvich... Or maybe The Dahlokohs Bar. The meat from pigs will probably be The Buffalo Steak Sandvich.
The container for lava, water, and milk could all look the same, or I could make them different. It's also a matter of what you guys would like! I could use Bonk!, Crit-A-Cola, Mad Milk, Or Jarate; with the bucket transforming depending on its contents, or I could use one for all them.
This project isn't about having one item definitely being another, if I get enough people requesting something I can easily change it.
Now then, don't expect much more progress today, it's Friday Night Magic, and I've got card games to play.
Yeeah.. THat doesn't look much like anything related to TF2 besides them directly ripping the textures from the game. That's not my goal, my goal is to make a texture pack from scratch, based off of TF2.
I am confident that my version will make you think and feel "TeamFortress 2" in your Minecraft much more than simply a high-definition pack which simply copy-pasta's some bits of texture.
