Having really been monitoring it too much, with school and everything... but it's up now and haven't heard anything of it being down.
I know the feeling. XD
College is tough...
Good to hear, though. I guess I'm just paranoid because knowing my luck it goes down during the 1.5 patch update and I decide to be gone all day for classes. =(

Exactly. Thank you Els. It's good to have dedicated fans helping. ^^
no problem, i love your pack!
like i said before, what about those weird already carved pumpkins?
and oh, im not keen on those wolves (but i know you are changing them!)
I'm working on the GUI as of right now, but I'll get around to the pumpkins afterwords. =)
Wolves will be tweaked slightly now that I'm understanding what each texture does on the wolf.

1 - which version did you install?
I was actually kind of confused and put both the given one for this texture pack as well as the one for normal wild grass...
Uhhhh... I hope you didn't overwrite the HD grass with the defualt ones. I'm not quite sure what you've done at this point. XD
STEPS:
1) Install LB PR using MC Patcher
1 1/2) Download the correct version, This is the most recent-working version: http://adf.ly/1ARJO (Not 11.6.1)
1 2/3) Open up the .rar and keep it open, Then...
1 3/4) On 1 1/2, I'm talking about downloading the Wildgrass Mod
2) Open up Minecraft.jar and place all of the files for wildgrass (Right?) inside, DO NOT PUT IN Terrain.png!
3) Press 'Test' on MC Patcher and see if you got it correct

If by some chance that DOES happen, we will always have the mediafire mirrors.
But I doubt it will.
Yesterday was the first time I've seen it down for that long, usually any down time is only for a few minutes at max.

this is starting to get tedious. even more so than it was before. it still doesnt work I have no idea what im doing wrong, im following the instructions to the letter. A couple questions: after (if i ever) get wildgrass working, what do I do with the wildgrass that comes with the texture pack? Also, I cant seem to find META-INF in my minecraft.jar, however Ive found it in every other file in the bin. Please halp.
Hello. I've recently tried installing this texture pack (256), but I get the java crashing error. Things I've done, made the java heap larger as on the front page and have updated to the latest java.
Specs
AMD x4 Phenom III 964 @ 3.4 GHz
ATI Radeon HD 5770
x4 GB DDR3 Ram
I've installed the 128 pack (amazing work) but I really would like to get the 256 working.
I recieve this after using the 1.12 mcpatcher (I've tried using the beta one but don't know how to use it?)
This is the error I get from 1.12 mcpatcher
########## GL ERROR ##########
@ Pre render
1281: Invalid value
Thanks. At this point it is about 60% hand painted in Photoshop. XD

True enough. I haven't heard of any issues lately so I assume it was just a random occurrence.
Off topic.... Has anyone heard from Aza? They haven't responded in their thread for about a month. I hate to see 2 of the top HD artists (In my opinion) go within the past week. =/
And in case anyone was wondering. I'm working up on finishing the GUI and them I'm going to toy around with some better HD rain and snow. Also, I might look into that piston mod that Notch is implementing and finish up the saplings.

any help or advice would be appreciated.
Do you have a 54bit System because downloading 64bit Java will eliminate nearly all crashes on any resolution.
But anyway, your error that you are getting is the result of either patching over a previous texture install or having conflicting resolutions as in you patched it for 128 and your trying to run the 256.
To solve it, just reinstall to give it a fresh start and it should work for you.
Comment back if you have any trouble.
Edit:
You know where your character is displayed when you press "i" or "e" for inventory? What do you guys think should go there? Just the usual dark/basic background or should I go the Painterly/Eld route and make it a cave/forest kind of thing. That was way too many slashes. :sleep.gif:
Thoughts and comments welcome

Thank you! I did a fresh install of minecraft then installed the 256 texture pack and it works, thanks. Also this just seems amazing. Contributing to your work via paypal.
After installing it, my game always crashes on startup. After displaying the Mojac logo, it says "not responding" and closes. I'm using the 128 version, and I believe I installed it correctly. I copied the zip files to minecraft.jar and used the HD patcher.

What am I doing wrong?
First off, what are your computer specs? I also would suggest looking into 64bit Java as that has been my general fix for everything as well as updating your Java.
Also, did you use the patcher before or after you copied the zip files. I'm not sure if this has an effect ultimately, but I always copy after I patch.
Have you tried any other resolutions of this pack?
I think that pretty much covers the breakdown of potential mistakes/errors. Comment back if you're still having issues. =)

I'd encountered a bit of difficulty with Wildgrass myself - it was a simple error that was keeping it from working.
I had been dragging the client folder into the minecraft.jar, instead of simply dragging only the files within that folder into the top-level directory of the .jar.

I knew I was missing a step..
You open the wildgrass rar, Go to client folder, Move all files from that folder but terrain.png into minecraft.jar
I love this texture pack, makes everything look so much better, especially the stone, water, and lava. Although I never like HD people skins. They don't ever look nice to me.
The one thing I really notice, is the sparkling water. From far away, as you look at the ocean, you see it moving and sparkling.
I tried the 64x64 version, and it still doesn't work. It seems that no matter what I do, it always makes the game crash.
Make sure you downloaded the right Java version (thats the problem that seems to come up with all the people I've helped install the pack - which is about 5 now ), that your PC can run 64 bit Java with 2GB of RAM dedicated to it and that you've enabled it to do so.
BTW, anyone notice how much worse the graphics are getting on vanilla minecraft? A bit more and it will look like a giant pixel world.
P.S. Still can't wait for the bump-map...

Curse PremiumI'd encountered a bit of difficulty with Wildgrass myself - it was a simple error that was keeping it from working.
I had been dragging the client folder into the minecraft.jar, instead of simply dragging only the files within that folder into the top-level directory of the .jar.
Specs:
-Windows 7 Home Premium, 32 bit
-AMD Athlon 64 dual core, 5200+, 2.6 GHz
-nVidia GeForce 9800 GTX+, 2GB VRAM
-4096mb RAM
-DirectX 10
I did the patcher after copying I think.
I tried the 256 version first, then went to 128.
I knew I was missing a step..
