ok, i'm confused now.... WtF is bump mapping and mipmapping??
Bumpmapping makes textures have depth... it makes them, POP.
Mipmapping makes close textures stream at full size, and further textures stream at lower resolutions.
Which solves the noise and will even improve FPS.

Exactly. I wish Mipmapping was actually patched in. It would save me so much trouble with the higher resolution packs consuming huge amounts of memory.
Anyway, what are those massive black pixelated bubbles in your screenshots? I think that shading on the ice is hard-coded incorrectly, though. =(

what i meant in my comment was to just do a vid like alree did for his cartoony texture pack. its just so easy for ppl to take one look at the video and instal it.

I did that java reallocation ages ago before I even used texture packs, and my computer is 32 bit (windows 7)
Would it help if I did a screen capture video, starting with vanilla minecraft, installing the pack and showing it crashing?
(Also I'm back using my custom 128 pack for now and its running fine again, I stuck a few of your textures in there (i'm not distributing its private) and they look really nice)

The GLSL shaders will help with noise effect, they give you a nice blur tat kills the pixel noise.
*EDIT* I just turned it up to 16x AA... Oh man, is it a good looking game already... It will look so awesome with the bump-map. It's still running perfectly smooth

Thats wrong. I have the same problem. Wild grass is in the LB texture map but I can´t get it run.
I inserted it manually, via mcpatcher to the jar file but nothing works. Only the LB Texture is running fine (excluded the problem with optics in distance).
So what did you do do run wild grass in LB texture mod? As far as I understand, every green block with grass should contain wild grass, am I right?

Not EVERY green block with grass holds the special grass, Create a new world, let it load for a few moments, Then walk around, you should see it. For me it just spawns like mexican babies (Totally Racist against mexicans... :ohmy.gif:)
How Th- I run this pack with 4GB DDR3 Ram, And 256MB video memory that is USABLE (For some reason, It detects 1.9GB Video memory?) With a pretty decent processor And I get over 100FPS, Yet most of you other people lag horribly?
Then again, I do use 2 mods to increase performance... :/

If not, Someone else test the iron door on the same size texture pack, Just to make sure My MC isn't messed up.

Not positive. That happened since I was drowning, so I guess that's my character trying to breathe...
