Every time I try a 256 texture pack my game crashes. Anybody know why? It shouldn't be my computer because I can run Crysis 2 beautifully. I don't get an error message to copy and paste so sorry about that.
Hi, so uh this TP literally annihilated my Minecraft game, so yeah I can't play anymore, thanks! :biggrin.gif:
I'm not sure if you're joking or not. In either case, just deleting the bin folder fixes it.

This looks awesome, I want to use the grass stuff too, but that other mod has 5-6 folders... which do I copy from to include in this one?
client? modloadv5? grassfixv5? etc...
So far this TexturePack is all I have installed against a vanilla 1.3 :smile.gif:

Copy everything in the client folder except the terrain.png into your minecraft.jar :wink.gif:

Or install Modloader v5 (or V4, I prefer v5 for High Res Font), and copy everything in the Modloader V5 folder only (except for terrain.png ofc).
Phantom and Pheonix's method should work. Thanks guys. =)

DO WANT.
this must have taken forever. this is amazing. very nice work!
This pack has take quite a bit of time with careful attention to detail. Unfortunately this new update seems to have flaws that slipped through my beady eyes. @[email protected]

i only downloaded the 64x texture because i have a laggy zombie map
hey just a random question for your wildgrass textures wat did you do for these
-flowers-
cause wen you destroy them they turn into the original flowers
which is stupid so did you just change there texture to the normal red and yellow flowers?
thx :biggrin.gif:
EDIT: just realised they all drop the original flowers hopefully he fixes that or does something
Anyways another problem
Does this happen to ur items ingame?:
-axe-
do they go speckly or is it just my bad art
also i hope you dont mind me using your stick but its epic i couldnt resist. I did make a few changes but mostly just color fixing a few stray pixels.
I haven't had that speckle occur when making my items. It may just be a pixel that was too transparent or could be a potentially corrupted .png compression. I'm not quite sure, overall. =\
In the case of the wild grass, I haven't touch anything in the new update. I'm quite oblivious to those things now that the view posts is broken and I'm getting pissed they aren't fixing it. :sleep.gif:
Hopefully he does fix that issue, though. It's quite annoying placing a rose and creating a cactus, etc.

The 128 texture pack works great though thanks!
This is Minecraft's fault for not properly allocating memory to Java. Installing 64bit Java will resolve this or follow the video on the main post.

Any news on when you'll have an update for the new wildgrass?

True enough. It's delicate work messing with hundreds of thousands more pixels. XD

Here is a preview of the new gui folder for the texture pack. Will be set for all 64x,128x,256x packs. Hope you like. The GUI UPDATE should hopefully be within two weeks from this post. Been working hard on it.

Wrong thread? Or..?
No, talk to Scuttles if you don't believe me.
No offense, but I don't see how the menu buttons fit with the "photorealism" theme at all :\
just wanted to let you know i have started a Lets play using your texture pack.. ill keep linking people to this thread in the description for how to get it.
Figured out how to get rid of the nasty distortion on tracks, redstone, and other assorted non-block textures! Oh YEAAA....THIS THING IS HAPPENING! Full steam ahead!

I get a huge error code when I try to run. I extracted the files into the bin folder and ran the HD setup thing for minecraft. When I run it I get to the Mojang screen, it crashes, then this text file shows up on my desktop.
Might there be a tutorial on how to specifically install this? I feel as though I put some of the wrong files in the wrong place, and it bellyflops when I try to run minecraft. Check a few post back, I posted an error code. I won't bug you all anymore, just trying to get some advice on this issue.

You said you extracted to the bin folder. Hopefully you meant the .jar inside the bin folder or there is your first mistkae. =\
ACCESS VIOLATION does mean you messed up somewhere and have incompatible mods/files running together. Try doing a fresh install.

This Game crashes every time I try to open the mod... does not work.
The game crashes either because you installed it incorrectly, or it runs out of memory. Could you specify what is happening?

Great texturepack, but you forgot vines for wild grass mod. They appear as a weird x-ish thing when placed. Keep up the good work.
I just didn't realize that wildgrass had an update because of the lack of ability to view my own posts. I'm working on making this new wildgrass look beautiful. ^^

HOLY F***ING S*** I'VE DONE IT!!!!
Figured out how to get rid of the nasty distortion on tracks, redstone, and other assorted non-block textures! Oh YEAAA....THIS THING IS HAPPENING! Full steam ahead!
Damn! That was very confusing at first because I saw your first sentence and it looked like you had gold tracks. XD
Very nice job, though. One step closer to perfection.

Updated my signature with my server IP.. :biggrin.gif:
So far so good.
The 128 texture pack works great though thanks!
I'm not sure if you're joking or not. In either case, just deleting the bin folder fixes it.
Phantom and Pheonix's method should work. Thanks guys. =)
This pack has take quite a bit of time with careful attention to detail. Unfortunately this new update seems to have flaws that slipped through my beady eyes. @[email protected]
Best of luck
Interesting. It does really improve the ambiance knowing I'll find some desecrated temple or something over a hill.
This is Minecraft's fault for not properly allocating memory to Java. Installing 64bit Java will resolve this or follow the video on the main post.
True enough. It's delicate work messing with hundreds of thousands more pixels. XD
Thanks and I'll try to get a proper compression going tomorrow. Today is very busy with a JOB INTERVIEW!!!!! and I also have an essay due tomorrow. =)

No offense, but I don't see how the menu buttons fit with the "photorealism" theme at all :\

Don't get me wrong, looks great.
Just didn't think it fit the overall theme of it is all.
Either way, I'm sure if it was his idea he knows how he wants the outcome to look.
Can't wait for next update! :-D
