can any one make a how to install video ? with all of those grass things and etc on it? becouse when i try to install those other mods, i do it all wrong :sad.gif:
I should probably state which mod should be installed first. I apologize for not getting around to it.
This is the correct order for install:
1. Required: Install the hd texture fix. Select 128x128 texture (check custom lava or water if you want mine)
2. Optional: Install mrmmods with a selection of your preferences. I only use better light and better grass
3. Optional: Install the wild grass mod by moving the files directly into the .jar in the bin folder
4. Required: If your computer is like mine, the hd texture fix doesn't like anything so you have to drag and drop the texture pack into .jar in the bin folder
The above method works for, atleast me, 100% of the time. Any other addition mods I may be able to help you with.
As of right now the only animation in the lava is the heat haze. The flowing lava doesn't want to move but if you know how to cause a "flowing effect" I really would love the info.
if the new texture would have the haze effect, the new one. but the only thing i'd maybe like changed would be the texture one the Solid Ore blocks...the block looks like it's just been smashed together with the bars...and the shovel >.> it's just a weird effect to have the shovel reversed...otherwise awesome!

So does anyone know how to get the MrMMods pack installed? Its giving me an error. Its the one that means that the installer is out of date.. How did you guys get it to install?

So far I've been able to use MrMMods using simply the better grass and lighting. I've heard the other mods are hit and miss.
Probably a clean slate is necessary to run it again. Deleting your .jar and rerunning minecraft puts it back to default before doing additional modding and texturing.

Is there an answer to this? Anyone?
With all due respect, I would appreciate an answer if possible.

I've been experimenting for hours (out of sheer curiosity and boredom... Ok... Boredom) and I've found that with Photoshop CS5 I was able to semi-mimic a flowing lava/water effect with a very weak spherize effect using horizontal only. Given this technique is extremely trial and error without some mathematical assistance, which I have no idea where to start.
It's not a solution nor an answer, but definitely is a start.
I love the look of it based off the pictures, but I'm having problems installing D:
Here's what I do:
1) Start with a fresh install of Minecraft (and update) and install your texture pack using the HD patcher.
2) Install MrMMods using the included patcher.
3) Place Wildgrass mod contents into Minecraft.jar (there's three of these? I've been placing it in all if that's a problem)
4) Place Glass mod contents into Minecraft.jar (same as above)
5) Place Depth of field mod into Minecraft.jar (This ones a little confusing; it's probably because I'm installing it wrong. The author only has a step-by-step for Mac and Linux, I'm using Windows 7 64-bit)
6) Delete meta-inf
After doing these steps I see no difference in game. No wildgrass, no changed textures, no depth of field, ect. I've installed many other texture packs with success so I'm pretty sure I'm installing at least your texture pack correctly.

Usual a manual install of the texture pack is required and I'm not 100% about the DOF mod because I can't get it to properly install due to my ATI card's incompatibility. Another thing is that the meta-inf folder should be deleted when you install the hd texture patcher (Correct me if I'm wrong on this one)

Okay, so I run the HD patcher and patch without selecting your pack, then place the contents of your pack into the Minecraft.jar?
Edit: That did it, I've got your pack working. It looks great! Now my only issue is getting the external mods to work :SSSS:. (glass mod, wild grass)

Those two mods shouldn't affect it because the class files are conflicting with the mods installed, given that you only have the hd texture fix and/or the mrmmods. You should be fine with just simply putting them into the .jar as well.
Well some astounding news which everyone should be happy to hear! I have finally figured out how to make flowing lava. I feel like a complete idiot for the simplicity of the manner, but, in any case, it is done and WILL be in the next update.
Thank you and good night. =)

I'm thinking about switching back, or to another pack, due to the fact that stone/gravel/etc. are too dark. It's really hard mining, when everything is so dark. You could make a "light" and "dark" version?
The cake is bugged, with gaps.
