After installing this truly amazing mod my game will crash at seemingly random times. Is there a way I can pull up some sort of an error log to post here and see what's going on?
EDIT: I've noticed that my CPU usage will be around 37% while the game is running smoothly, then immediately drops down to 23% when Java stop responding. Gah this is pissing me off.

what java version and how much memory do you have allocated to it?
Just the very basic info really (Cba to type it properly :tongue.gif:)
Windows Vista 64bit
Intel Quad Core 2.83GHz
4GBs DDR3 RAM
ATI Radeon HD 3870 X2 (512Mb Video Memory on each card)
I have that exact setup just with only one 512mb Card. =(

How can we get these sexy new tools!?
Oh and I almost came when I installed these new textures. <-- My face when I installed it.
New tools should be in the new update. There is a quick link to just the tools on like page 41, I think.
I still make that face when I see something I haven't noticed in this pack. XD

I've been having that problem on my girlfriend's computer. I had to allocated memory to Java because I couldn't install 64-bit on her computer. The video should be on the main page.

2.9.0 broke better grass, is it just me?
good items btw =)
The Items are quite sexy. ^^
This pack was never compatible with the new better grass thread. I'm surprised you got it working in the first place. I personally don't like their "fix" for the side grass biomes. It just applies a standard grass backdrop and doesn't allow this pack to easily work with it. I haven't tried the side grass part of that pack yet, though.

Before this, I've never wanter to use a HD pack. After this, I'm recommending this pack for everyone that I see playing Minecraft. [EDIT]
256 isn't working on my pc. It stops loading on Mojang splash.
128 works fine but has some bugs
64 is good but not photo-realistic as 256
Thank you for spreading the word about this pack. =)
I'd personally try the allocation of memory for Java on the main page of this thread for the 256 issue. You could also try installing 64-bit Java if you can. If that doesn't work, your computer might not be able to handle it. =(

hey scuttles,
is it possible to use the shadermod with ur texture pack ?
I have a guy around here somewhere working on the bumpmapping and speculars. Everything else in the shader mod should work with this pack, though. Enjoy. =D

Gonna test the new 256px :smile.gif:
Yea, I'm thinking of taking up on PhantomGamer's offer of a dedicated download off of his website.
New pack had an update on all of the tools. They are now 100% my work and HD. ^^

this is too real minercaft is meant to be different
In my opinion, Minecraft fell short on textures and it made the game feel far too childish. I'd prefer a realistic spin on this game to make it out to be more than it was to begin with instead of feeling like a child running around in some fantasy over-saturated world.
Again, my opinion.
@PhantomGamer,
I'll add that up to the main page soon. Thank you for getting these external links. ^^

the Dark leaves
can you make them brighter by maybe 15 rgb
I'll try to work on that. The dark green was was from a "tundra" biome originally. I'll try lighting up my foilage and see if I can get some better results.
Here's a quick fix for you. I made them fairly lighter without making them obnoxious. XD http://www.mediafire.com/?521tcr6rwby5mwq
I'm still getting the crashing when playing with this texture pack or the GLSL Shaders. I have x86 Java and x64 operating environment (Windows 7). I use Google Chrome for my browser.

This is what my Java looks like:
I would uninstall or update that other version of Java. The program might be running in the previous version and ignoring the new one.
Have you tried 64-bit Java?
