If minecraftforums IMG is being nice..:
EDIT----
Does it look Ok?
Doing new picture with Wildgrass
EDITEDIT------
The first picture was with version 2.7.0
Updated to 2.8, And then installed GLSL+Wildgrass
Here's another image
I think this one was a bit better.
Well.... Atleast it showed more textures..
Bump 1 ^

Put this font folder into the lb photo realism pack .zip for HD Font
Its from misa's pack.. Makes the font look 100% better http://up.ht/gUcwH2
Example of the font:
EDIT----
Forgot to say, It works on any texturepack above 64x64
Bump 2 ^
Bump 3 ^ if you didt see it :tongue.gif:
The font I supplied was AWESOME with this pack. The first bump was of a rose... Testing GLSL shaders+your pack
30 FPS :sad.gif:
I've tried reinstalling Minecraft, deleting all the files (backing up my saves :biggrin.gif:), reinstalling Java, reinstalling the texture pack, changing the whatever it is with Java using the tutorial video, but still...nothing.

What do I do now?
Define nothing? o.O
EDIT: Nevermind, I see.
What operating System? x64 or x86?
You may be installing x86 Java, but have a x64 OS.
Not that it should matter, since 128 works for you.
-HD font + MSAA and dof + this pack = heaven in minecraft With the AA set up to 16, mip mapping is hardly even necessary. You do still get the swirling but it's much much easier on the eyes. And It's not even mapped yet (keyword yet).
-I got a little impatient and may have started making normal, height, and specular maps for a few of your textures (cobble for one) just to see how it would look. The result is something that seems to look nice when loaded in CrazyBump (I did however, make the spec maps in GIMP not CB) but I won't know for sure till I get it loaded into Minecraft, which brings me to my next point...
-Dax's 1.3 mod is giving me a lot of crap about being unable to installing base vertex shaders (I can still use the DOF shader, though...weird). I read every bit I could find on it, made a lengthy post about it, and if he doesn't get back soon, I'll either try to decompile and figure it out or more likely just switch back to 1.2 which I archived.
tl;dr - I'm still all about getting this pack fully mapped. It's a big project, but it really needs to be done. Btw, I know I said pics last post and they are coming, I promise. I'm at work right now, upload when I get home.
Using Mcpatcher, with Hi-res font ticked gives me too much space between characters, and without Hi-res font ticked, letters collide with each other... Screenshots attached.
I put it in the texture pack.zip and let the patcher do. Am I doing something wrong?
Yep, you most likely either have modloader/mipmapping/optimine on. Those screw with HD fonts. I got the same results. You gotta take off either one of your mods, or modloader and mods completely. I didn't check which cuz I only used mipmapping. After a fresh install of MC without those mods, reinstall the texture pack with HD font checked.
oooh ooooh...aaaaaaand I did custom shaders for my pack just to test it out...and did them for your water while I was at it... oooooooooh shiney.. just specular and normal.. don't know how to do reflective and height yet... but wow.. my first gimp lesson was full of win.
edit: and then...I broke it trying to use better mapping... so if you know anyone experienced with it... all I need is someone to do the math for the bump mapping base.fsh. right now it only adds a tiny bit of depth b/c it's only working with the default "Fine for 16x16 file size"
Sorry for not being here for, well, the whole week. XD
The wife and I have had some plans and we've been busy.

I got bored last night and made this. Only took a couple of hours, but the results were quite pleasing. Should I add it to the .png with artwork?
-pic-
how do you learn to do this kind of thing. ive always wanted to but ive never found out how to
After many years of experience in Photoshop. XD
It's a fairly easy once you've got down the basics of space art and after that is based of off skill and effort put into the work.

Can't believe I've missed this one for so long. Just started using the 128x128 version today, and have to say I'm blown away. Great compilation of assorted works.
Count me in as another faithful follower.
Welcome aboard. =)
Good to know the community keeps growing.

Oh I'm using the 256x256 texture pack
I'm sorry, I really have no idea then. =(
Could it be you're running out of memory in Java and the resources needed to animate the water has been cut?

Crazy bump, in my opinion, doesn't quite live up to my expectations of actually bumping something properly. If you're going in that direction make sure to touch up the textures by hand to make sure it's a damn good job. =)
I'll also be willing to do that if you want.

Hey there
I wonder if anyone could make this awesome pack using the bump mapping of dax (I think that's the name).
Like this photo
Because I don't like the other pack as much as this one :biggrin.gif:
If anyone is talented and motivated enough, please do.
Many thanks :smile.gif:
I almost have a team or something working on this, lol
Expect a very clean and impressive update on that within a week or two.

I tried to resize the 256 textures to 128x with wild grass. It worked just fine, except...
128x128 already has wild grass, why would you resize the textures?

Yea well that's true of probably any bumping algorithm, but it's a good start. I might take you up on that, my shooping skills may not be up to it. I'm creative but I'm definitely no artist.

Nice screens, by the way. =)
Fair enough, I'll just take a peak at it when you're ready to send it my way. I trust you're good with the speculars because I won't be able to test it on my ATI card. =\
The bump maps always need that touch-up/hand-edited job to make it actually pop and feel realistic. Interestingly enough, I learned that from Misa when I was first experimenting with them. =D
P.S.
The pig shits pigs? I'm sold.
Edit:
I'm not dead. ;P
I've been working diligently on the new HD items which have came with very pleasing results. These are taking more time to make than I thought and aren't as easy as landscape textures. =(
Kidding.
Anyway, here are the stone tools. I'm not quite pleased with the actual color of the stone. I'm debating on a lighter and smoother stone in the final product.
Some notes:
I fixed the few string graphical mistakes that protrude out of the tools
Going to test the 256px pack with fsaa on my laptop.
Best of luck on that one. If I recall correctly your laptop should be able to run it. It's just a matter of adding the fsaa on top of the pack, lol.
Haven't seen you around these forums any more, Elias. =(

stone color is a little inconsistent... and agreed too dark especially on the shovel
I'll fix the shovel. I didn't realize I was missing a layer. =/
Edit:
MAIN PAGE FIXED!!! MODS BE BLESSED! ^^
Celebratory scary ass cave pictures. No one should play this pack on peaceful when exploring massive cave systems. It's really thrilling. @[email protected]
My friend actually died in this hole right below that torch. Rest his soul... Long story short, he decided to not pay attention to the floor and fell right into the arms of a creeper. ='(
I really don't want to go any further with only 4 hearts.
