I know that Scuttles probably has a real life, but still, it's been a month, no, more than that, since the beta and nothing has changed. Even a minor update to fix the birch leaves would be greatly appreciated!!!
Comes Today by 18 clock The New BETA By Me DrHammelbirne!
Have FUN!!
Hold on a second.... did you just hijack this entire thread and project???
Scuttles hasn't even been on, so I don't think you could have gotten his permission.
Besides, in your first 3 posts you totally hijack this thread. I smell a fish....
EDIT: Your pack is actually pretty good, but I'm messaging Scuttles about this. As far as I know, the only problem with the pack was just the reorganization of the textures rather than actually missing textures.
I hate to tell everyone this but I don't think scuttles will be on or read any message any time in the future I just got a response back from Ben Arnold the creator of SoA witch scuttles dose the texturing on and I quote " Scuttles is pretty busy with his current projects. I just don't think he has time to work on everything! He has even been too busy to work on SoA recently " sorry to say he wont be doing anything to lb photo realism anytime in the future.
The right are all at scuttles only I want to the project alive belibt because LB Photo realism is a very good pack and not all user loses because it is not updated: (
Well.... if you're willing to do the work, go right ahead. Just make sure you are VERY clear that you are only extending Scuttles work, and this isn't all your own.
In that case, glad to see that this hasn't died yet!!!
Now it's thanx to Hammel for getting those smooth fonts in. The old LBPR fonts were so hard to read...
Yep, new update is nice. But, I actually liked the previous fonts better. The current (old) font is.... well.... not only hard to read, but it overflows on almost everything; signs, buttons, there's text hanging off of edges.
Nice job on the charcoal!
But clouds don't work. They're still the default blocks instead of the shaded versions.
Am I correct that if someone made all new textures, and just used file names and folder names and arrangement to make a texture pack, (*like grab this texture pack and paste a new texture over each texture then resave) to enable it to work with minecraft, it would be a whole new texturepack? or is there more to making a new non derivitive texturepack?
I have done some additional work in the past to make it work more with the old school Tekkit (pre tekkit lite) cause I really like the look of this pack but the glaring differences in things like the marble or solar cells was annoying. and I am working currenty with someone to put a modpack together that will require me to make a whole texture set if I want realistic textures for the demo videos for our super secret network of servers that are using this modpack, so I guess the idea is to figure out how to release the pack when done (maybe the mod add on textures will be seperate so people can merge them with their own mod pack mix of stuff in their textures?) I don't know, but the realistic nature of this pack inspires so much more feeling in the game, so I think this tradition of realistic textures is incredibly crucial, to the game for some of us, (just like the superslopes was and I really wish someone would update that for the new versions of minecraft and make add ons for other mods blocks lol)
anyway I guess to show what I have done as add ons you can see here in these pics
Compact solars
marble brick and EE stuff like alchemist chest and energy collectors
ores that I used a mash up of sphax and LB to generator in a hurry lol
more ores, some are real photos of ore that I mixed into the stone texture and others are more sphax ores, as I had not replaced those yet.
and incase you were wondering what superslopes was or why it was awesome here you go
Differences between basalt cobble and regular cobble from minecraft and tekkit,
another one that shows pillars made of plain marble using the texture I made
never take unfair treatment, if someone is treating you badly, and you can not resolve it, leave, you are better off with out someone in your life that abuses you no matter how they try to invalidate your concerns or feelings. No one has that right, only you get to chose how you feel about something.

So, you've made your own addons to LB Photo Realism to make it compatible with mods? That's OK by me, but as it's a custom modified TP and not technically compatible with everyone's systems, I wouldn't consider it a whole new texture pack. Rather, I would just call it an addon pack for LBPR.
Nice work, Hammel!! Might I note clouds are still messed up on fancy graphics, so I just turn them off most of the time.
I've been using this texture pack for years, and I just want to say thanks for continuing Scuttles great work.
Only thing is that the stained glass and horse armor seems to have been forgotten, would love to see that updated.

this is not fully encompassing what I have said. I actually said I guess more than one thing, that made it a bit confusing? (and I apologize for making this a two or more part post earlier possibly causing confusion)
I said that my experience with making addon textures for it, for the other mods in tekkit classic, has let me know I could replace every texture in the texture pack with enough time invested, as one part and was asking if this makes it entirely a new texture pack (or is there maybe a blank texture pack somewhere one could use to build one from instead, that is preferred?)
and the other part was that if I were to make realistic textures for a set of mods we are planning on using in a modpack for a super secret server network, should maybe those be kept separate and maybe tacked on here with what mods they are for, so people could use them with this pack as well instead of mashing it all together as one big conglomeration? is this ok either? or frowned upon? Just getting the lay of the land on what is permissible and what is not, many of the textures in here are still not quite what I would want for a truly realistic pack (and mine would probably keep getting tweaks and revisions as I saw flaws I overlooked as well to get it to be more smooth,)
as always any time you or anyone else uses to review and send answers and or feedback is greatly appreciated.

Ahhhhhh. you want to decompile it and replace the textures with your own, while just using the texture template. That's fine, as long as you don't use any of the textures in this pack itself. Basically, if it's all your own work do what you want with it, and if you've modified something put the original creator in with big credit. I think that about covers what you want. Note that because you can add multiple texture packs in 1.6/1.7 etc., you might just consider the multiple packs like you were talking about for each mod.

That, and charcoal textures are missing. Maybe make the charcoal like, maybe looks something like a real life charcoal briquette?: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/f/f2/Charcoal_Briquette.JPG
......?
Somehow that made no sense. Did you look at the picture? It seems to be offset by 90° or something. Try rotating the texture or something.

Redstone Comparator item texture is missing also.

Please keep up the awesome work!

Yes, as soon as Hammelbirne can compress it. Actually, I could compress it rather easily. Maybe I might do that...
Erm... what?
Ayway, been playing nonstop with you pack and other than the clouds is awesome!!!!

I'm loving every minute of it!
