And the hay bales are looking more yellow. I removed the twine bundle from the side texture as I'm still working on that. and it didn't look quite right.
Always have loved this texture pack, always will. Thanks for the continued support on it as well Scuttles, it does mean alot to me to have minecraft look this good.
Working on the lilacs (my personal favorite) and the stained glass today. We'll see how much I can get done.
Edit:
Not sure I'm a fan of how the Lilacs turned out. It's a bit difficult to make it bushy with such a narrow template of 1x2 to work with. I'm going to certainly make some tweaks.
Really love the foliage so far. Looks fantastic! Your foliage is always on a completely different level than other packs. While your working on the textures though, do you think you could change the sides of grass blocks a bit? Since the grass texture dips down towards the middle, its looks kinda strange when they're next to each other and kind of ruins the tiling. If you made the grass line flat-across like on the old grass texture or stock I think it would look much better, but thats just my opinion, I don't know if anyone else feels the same.
I rarely post to forums, but I had to make a comment on how much your texture pack has really enriched the game for me.
I just had a couple comments on all of the new flowers.
I actually own a nursery and I am familiar with all of these flowers, but in their native forms they tend to have a lot less flowers. Most of the new textures you are creating seem to resemble cultivated varieties with intense flowering as opposed to the more subtle coloring you see in nature. I would suggest on the lilac for instance, that you use more foliage and have maybe just three or four flowers on the entire plant. I think this would give the new flowers a more "realistic" feel.
Please don't be offended at my comments. Everyone has differing opinions, and I may be in the minority on what I prefer to see. If you like the suggestions and there is anything I can do to help, please let me know.
I'm also going to make a monetary donation either way to help support this project. I suggest others do the same. If everyone that uses the texture pack gave only $5.00, I'm sure that would be a great help.

Thanks again for a great job!
+1 I think having a fewer flowers on the plants would be good as you dont tend to see so many in nature.
I love LOVE this texture pack! The tulips look lovely, I'm super hyped for the flowers <3. When I first downloaded this texture pack I was bummed because I couldn't use the best of the best of it. But now since my fiance built his massive power house desktop I can! I can't wait to see what other textures you make :D! This is by far my favorite texture pack of all time !!

It's awesome that you own a nursery. =)
I think you may be right with the flower/plant ratio. I'll try to tweak it and give it less flowers overall. One of my main issues I'm having is that nearly all the lilac bushed from around here are far wider than they are tall. It looks strange to make it narrow and tall due to MC limitations.
I like the tulips where they stand as I actually intended them to have a greater yield of flowers. I wanted a field of tulips.

I tried having a flatter texture before, but it just didn't feel organic. Ideally, I would have liked to have added random generation to nearly all the blocks so that I could create alternates and it would feel so much more realistic and natural.

I'm glad you like it and congrats on the new computer. I got a new one as well I'm loving it.
No other Texture pack can ever compare to this one! I just want to say Thanx to you and anyone involved in the making of it. great job guys thanx very much!
I just want to know if it is avalible for 1.7.2 yet or are you still busy with it? sorry if this is a silly question..

Still chipping away at it. The list of things left is slowly shrinking though. Won't be much longer.
just wanted to pop in and say the update is looking good so far man... happy to see you got a hay texture to work.... that was a huge headache for me...always had too obvious of a tiling issue in the center line of the blocks.
can't wait to see what you come up with for stained glass!

I don't know if it's on your list or not, but the iron bars texture seems to be a little off. When viewed on the edges, it has little "bits" sticking out, something the default texture and other packs that I've seen don't have. Not sure if they are intentional or a bug but it doesn't look right when you use iron bars without them connected some something else on all edges. Noticed it when I went to make an iron bar fence.

-snip-
That looks like a crossbar issue. I just need to enlarge the edges to make it work accordingly. I'll add it to my todo list, but no promises this next update. =)

The only snags I'm having so far is the foliage. It's taking hours to extract plants out of images. Especially the new rose plant I'm working on. That's been a trip. =/
I'm torn between a few decisions for stained glass. I'm not sure if I should take the traditional approach with just tinted glass or have detailed designs for each color for people to work with and create things from.
