I must be dumb, I cannot find a 1.5.2 compatible version of LB RPG. Will someone be so kind as to show me an working link? I tried the one on the OP, but that is clearly a resource pack and not a texture pack which is needed for 1.5.2.
Thank You
@Scuttles: I love your work, thank god you are still around to update it. I love it so much I have taken the time to add the mods that I use to it so I can enjoy LB goodness on everything possible.
Hey guys, I just downloaded this texture pack and it looks quite bad it's like fuzzy on the grass when far away, I have the 256x version. Is it just my eyes or is it because I am still using integrated intel 4600 graphics? I have a i5 4670k. If it is then no worries I am getting a GTX 760 for xmas. Here is a link to what it looks like: http://img194.images...4/2797/dmag.png
Thanks guys. Also I was running it with only optifine no mc patcher or anything. If you need any other info, ask.
I believe you need mipmap for this to be fixed, so optifine should have those settings.
Here's Ironwill's post about mipmap a few posts up.....
i agree with the guy above me use mipmaps and if u got new gpu get all those settings to max for max beautyness but now use mipmap 2 instead it wll fix it or u can wait for 1.7 then u dont need optifine for it because i saw somewhere that it will implented can someone confirm it? yes minecraft own wikipedia can (minecraft wiki) and here is the proof if u dont believe me
Video Settings
Render Distance is now a slider ranging from 2 to 16 chunks
The sky is now visible on Short (4 chunks) render distance
Max Framerate is now a slider ranging from 10 to 250 fps, then Unlimited
Added mipmapping, anisotropic filtering and FSAA (as a shader)
Mipmap levels can be set to Off and 1 through 4
Anisotropic filtering can be be disabled or set to 2, 4, 8 or 16
Post-Processing (shaders) can be toggled[sup]
other new video settings are also nice but that secret setting is awesome because it are shaders
Well, shaders but just realize that they are not GLSL, meaning shadows, awesome water ect. They are like greyscale, 8-bit, upside down(lol), weird trippy effect, ect. Including one with mipmap/AA I believe.
Also, I think I saw a snapshot vid confirming the new settings.
It would appear that Minecraft 1.7 should be out on Friday this week barring any major bugs discovered before then. According to Dinnerbone, anyway.
How's your update going, Scuttles? A pity they added the new wood types into the snapshots at the eleventh hour, but we'll get there eventually no doubt.
sorry its not 1.6.4 compatible and if u ask that there will be one is i think also a no because tomorow (friday 25 oct) is it the release of 1.7 so he focus himself on 1.7 (ps if the 1.7 version is done u can use that one for 1.6 too because the textures are where they need to be only u got extra files he wont use but u know what i mean)
WTF do u mean I'm running it in 1.6.4 fine, just without txtures for compass/clock.

Interesting. Anisotropic filtering is great along with mipmapping. Mipmapping smoothens out the graininess, but it makes the textures few blocks radius from you little blurry. AF fixes that. A lot of modern consoles games don't have AF because of the hardware limit.

Guys, this pack is broken. The compass shows up as a magenta and black checkerboard. I uninstalled. It doesn't matter how great it looks if some textures are missing or corrupted. Oh well.....

Your loss. If you read the previous comments its being updated for 1.7.

By 1.7, you mean this pack's version 1.7? Thats fine if that is the case. I thought what is meant is MC 1.7. Because if that is the case, IT'S NOT FIXED.

I might've come off sounding like a jerk. But the creator of the pack has other projects as well so the updates to the pack can take some time. I wouldn't be too worried if its just the clock and compass completely missing textures.

This pack looks really good. I love the textures on the mobs best of all. But the corrupt textures are too bad. its weird too because 1.7 support multiple resource packs. Missing textures just means the next one lower in your list renders it, maybe even all the way to default. But something is messed up because default isn't rendering, garbage is.

Hey guys, I found a fix for the clock issue. Its pretty easy..
Make text file and name it: clock.png.mcmeta
Then add this code to the file and save it:
{
"animation": {}
}
Place this file in directory: /resourcepacks/LB Photo Realism x256 10/assets/minecraft/textures/items/
Note: Replace LB Photo Realism x256 10 to whatever you named the photo realism resource pack if you have different. Also use a plain text editor when making the file.
perhaps those still work or are those outdated but if ur method works then just copy him and rename him to compass.png.mcmeta
maybe that works? just trie them all
What I wrote works on 7.2, did not test it on any earlier versions though. Its just 3 lines of code, Im not sure if the person loaded up in mediafire is correct for 7.2, but if that also works you can download it and put it in the directory I mentioned. I forgot to also mention both compass and clock have the exact same code. Just duplicate the file and rename it compass.png.mcmeta . No need to download anything if you have a text editor. This is easier than it seems.
BTW there is no texture for compass and clock; i end up having to switch back to Default texture when I go mining or i say down waaay too long and it ruins the immerse experience

Done, you should have a working clock now.
Rince repeat for compass.png.mcmeta
