look pretty organized to me... the only thing you need to download is the HD fix if you havent yet and the pack is the one that says Download link version w/e... the others are either links to the other packs this one uses stuff from or optional mods to make it feel more realistic
Amazing updates! Now i can play with 200-300+fps on normal fog . Thank you ! But i don't really like the GUI ..it could be better , i think (and with ~60 with my mods installed)
Alright so the things I've changes so far:
the wood
the door [just changed color to match the wood]
the netherrack [the guts thing]
the soul sand [my favorite!] [the bones]
the sand
sandstone
the gravel
the bed
and the glowstone.
-pics-
What do you think so far?
I am not sure I am going to keep the glowstone that way, I was trying to make a chandelier but that is very difficult.
Looking fairly nice. ^^
I kind of like that wood. It's more uniform with the rest of the pack's chests. I didn't see or couldn't tell what the sandstone was, though. =\
Good luck with the chandelier idea, lol. That has to be very difficult. I'd stick with something like a lantern which wouldn't look weird as a square.

Scuttles, Why do you have to be so awesome?
Because.

Thank you.

You know, there are so many links, yet I don't know what I need to download or what is optional. Can you organize the links?
I've been notoriously scatter brained while making this pack. The hd patcher is the only required part for installing this pack or else your game will crash. Everything else like the better grass or wild grass are just eye candy.

Wow this is amazing. :3
Perhaps, more work on the items though, i personally think they don't look up to par.
I couldn't agree more with these statements. Now that I've finished most of the terrain.png I can start working on these things such as this. I'll probably start with the gui because it should be easy.

Why would it put it on an illegal torrent website when he could just upload the torrent file to media fire or whereever and link it in the OP?
This is probably what I was going to do. Easy, quick and... Legal. =D
Today I'll be finishing up the touches to the 128x128 pack and the 64x64 pack. I'm sorry for everyone who have waited so long for support on those packs.
What I do need from you guys who are interested in the 64x64 pack is some beta testing. =)
Rename this to terrain.png (I'm not releasing the whole pack because I'm a tease)
i know the answer is probably already some ware in this thread. spent an hour looking through and still cant find it. this pack looks soooo amazing however i cant run it. every time i run minecraft with this mod i get a black screen after the mojang logo. this is slowly killing me :sad.gif: please can some one help me. i am a n00b
Have you tried allocating memory for Java. It's the video on the main page. Also, what are you computer specs?
-is so tempted to test x64 but loves the 256 too much-
That's an easy one. rename your bin directory to something like bin_256. Then run Minecraft and let it download the default textures. (You can copy the new bin to a new location and rename it to something like bin_default_1_3 so you'll always have a default to start from without needing to connect to MC.net). Now try out the 64 pack and, when you're ready to return to the 256 pack, just delete the bin and rename bin_256 back to bin again and you are back.
I keep multiple bin directories with various patched packs and mods installed to in a separate directory. Then when I want to use one or the other I just delete my current bin and copy the one I want from the separate directory. It saves a lot of time repatching and I never have to reconnect to MC.net to start over.
Quite a few things I'll have to touch up on the 64x64 version, lol. The downsampling seems to leak color from neighboring textures into each other just enough to give an annoyingly obvious tiling. =\

Ideal for someone who NEEDs them though :biggrin.gif:
A couple of criticisms tho... I'm not a fan of the armors or most of the gui items (container, crafting, furnace, gui, icons, inventory, or trap). I have personally swapped out all of those for the Albion ones. The stuff in your pack looks too 'busy' and I don't like that health and armor are changed into bars.
As far as the armor goes, each one just looks like one solid color. I swapped these out for ones from another x256 pack (Realistic HD Pack by KDStudios)
But other than that, love the work you're doing!
I think you've downloaded the incorrect version. =\
I haven't had the health bars for a very long time and the armor is bumpmafts which is very detailed and certainly not one color.
The new water is very nice and soon I'll be able to place it in the 128x128 pack.
Edit:
Where is everyone getting the version with the health bars instead of the appropriate bubbles???
wow... um. My own 256x256 pack looks quite good and i was going to upload it. but.... this is amazing.... I'm going to change my texture pack a bit! Do you mind if I incorporate a lot of your textures into my texture pack?
Not at all, I just ask you to put me as one of your sources. =)
good sir...would you mind instructing me on how to bend and image...specifically tracks..or gimme a hand with them if I can't do it w/o photoshop..thats the only thing I am missing at this point.

edit: for terrain.png that is :tongue.gif:
Hmmm... I'm not sure how to do it without Photoshop. I use one of the new features which allowed pretty sweet bending. I haven't touched into it too much, but it looked promising. I can try to do it for you if you wish. ^^
they are in the updated terrain.png download on my thread. the straight ones are done..the rails by themselves are to the right of the wool just hanging by themselves
edit: the completed one is in it's proper spot...looks funny as hell with the curved track that I believe is yours

Damn right I will. :wink.gif:
It's really hard to even test the 64x64 version myself because I miss the high details too much as well. XD

Exactly why I'm making them. ^^
