I'm having problems trying to patch my Minecraft. When I try to add the x256 pack minecraft loads the mojang screen then just a black screen. I'm running windows 7 64bit and have java 64 bit installed but I can't seem to get it to work. Also, when I try to change the java heap size it fails to load if it's anything other than 1024. Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like it's defaulting to 32 bit java to run. You need to reference your 64 bit java.exe with the full path in your .bat file. It should look something like this:
This texturepack was so awesome that I wanted to use it badly on 128x but it lagged me up due to me using a lap top, But from past versions that I've used that were just fine, it's a (5/5 Classic Green Wool) since that I couldn't give it anything below because of how awesome this texturepack is.

What laptop do you have? I'm running the 256x textures on a HP PAvilion M6 Laptop. It has switchable graphics with a Intel HD 4000 chipset and an AMD ATI Radeon 7674M Graphics Card. Maxed out the RAM to 16GB.

I have been using this texturepack for a very long time, I generally run the 256x version at around 90 fps on ultra settings and fullscreen, but when i use this texturepack with minecraft 1.5.1 it crashes, and when i do get it to work it runs so slowly that i can't even get off the homescreen! Somebody help!
Clocks will be fixed soon. I have a ton of stuff I need to get done by Saturday for work so I've been focusing on that as of late. I just finished up my semester of college as well meaning I have more time back on this project. =)
I've also got to finish up the missing textures from the last update.
Is there something wrong with the RPG texture pack? I've downloaded all the different version sizes but they all seem to be missing almost all of the textures. There are only about 4 folders in the .zip file. Am I missing something or is it actually not downloading correctly?
Thanks for the help in advance, I really want to try the RPG texture pack out!
dont forget the ctm files i fixed but to be honest it is just placing all files into a map with the glass or bookcase name number them from 0 to xx and placing a text file into it with code i found in another texture pack so it was not hard but it spares some of your time so you could do other things and you did i think
but i found some bugs so perhaps i need to trie to fix them too?
Ah, yes. I almost forgot about those as well. They shall be implemented too.
I'd like to hear those bugs if you don't mind posting them. =)

RPG pack isn't compatible with the latest version. I have no idea why I didn't just convert it and upload that. =/
It's so simple to mix and match the missing textures from there. I think I'll do that when I get time tomorrow. I need to get to bed. Working 13 hours tomorrow between two jobs. D:
Does anyone know of any recent videos showcasing the RPG Realism pack? The most up to date one I've found so far uses Beta 1.8.1, thus I haven't been able to see what it looks like with some of the more recent updates and blocks.
Also, can anyone make some recommendations for things like shaders to go along with it? These things are beautiful on their own, sure, but the right shading and effect mods can really make them shine, I figure.
Wow, this pack is the most beautiful one I have ever seen. Everything about it looks so much better than the original MC textures in my opinion. But do you think this pack will create any lag?

The 16x only changes chests.
Is it possible to use the vanilla textures for the compass so it is at least functional?
It was about the compass, but alot of people have posted the same thing so I removed it. Hope it's fixed soon.

Just make sure you're using the one under "Program Files" and not "Program Files (x86)" as everything under "Program Files (x86)" is 32-bit.
