Knowing how frustrating the process of searching for all the new things in MC 1.5.1 is, now that everything is converted to single block and item files...whilst also simultaneously converting to the new 1.5 format, I built on a checklist that The_Fool76 made for me that might be of some use. I've not looked back through your thread, so some other kind soul may have already well clued you up on what's needed.
Stuff that will need new art:
-snipped list-
Please remember that any animated blocks or items now also need to be accompanied with a .txt file listing the individual frames of animation and how to play them. MC Patcher makes the whole process of convertion wonderfully easy. You just need to add the new stuff.
In a spirt of comradeship, I hope the above checklist helps keep things rolling along for this most excellent project. My own lads have greatly enjoyed playing Minecraft through LB Photorealism.
So enjoy the Easter break, but don't feel under pressure. RL comes first.

Haha, wow! I do have quite a bit more work to do. Thank you greatly for the list, Glimmar. =)

My pleasure, mate.
I just think this update has been a real stinker! Mainly because at first glance it doesn't seem like there are a lot of new things added, but with all the different block faces, I had real problems understanding what everything did. Having to search confusing things down as well as all the new terminology and Mojang constantly changing things, nearly made me give up. Yay! I hear everyone shout.
MAN! I have been waiting for the beta for ever, constantly checking the forums to see if Scuttles updated it and it was but when i download it Minecraft cant render it!
great job though Scuttles! keep up the awesome work.

Missing so many things in the beta it's displeasing me. Update seemed larger than anticipated. =/
Still to come:
-Fix ores for new stone (Temporary till I finish off the new ores)
-Possibly add more of the new content
-Unify the sand materials
Later updates:
-Full support for 1.5
-Wood planks
-New glowstone

All of new 1.5 blocks textures along dirt and stone textures are nicely done. I think quartz is going to be one of my favorite building blocks. I'm looking forward of 512x version of these textures.
lol, Even worst. Oh God, these children of today...
Testing the 128x right now. And as always, Scuttles delivers us a great job. You're one of the best Texture Pack designers out there, Scuttles! Keep up making that great job that you always did!

Even though it is larger than anticipated, glad you released a "beta" for it. Looks really good, the Quartz and all that. I love the marble look to it, I was actually expecting the Chiselled Quartz Block to look more of a marble brick type of thing, but it actually looks a lot better than I thought. Keep up the good work Scuttles!

I do have 1024x textures. I'm debating on uploading those, haha.

Happy easter indeed!
I haven't updated the main page yet. I just posted a little beta of the x256 to see if I had the layout working for people without issues.
I'm trying to downsample and upload the lower resolutions ones later for now.

I tried to keep it quite crystalline as well as give it a marble feel. I'm quite excited to build structures with it as well. It turned out nice.
Thank you. =)

I can probably run it standalone, but with Sonic Shaders, I don't have enough VRAM. I barely have enough for 512x with sonic shaders. I thought 2GB VRAM would be enough for gaming at 1080p.
Uploading one more test. I attempted to fix many of the issues seen before. I want to minimize the problems since 1.5 added a ton of extra work for us artists. =/
Very nice work Scuttles! Only problem I see so far is glowstone is the quartz block texture. On a minor side note the stone has quite the tile effect and for the sand i need to look more closely to tell that is it sand.
<edit>
Just my opinion but I may like the old dirt better too. It tiled better and seemed to have a more realistic depth in the texture. Again, this is just to my eyes.
I just downloaded the Beta pack you posted above, and I figured I'd give you my feedback on stuff. Naturally, feel free to ignore any of my critiques/suggestions
Marble Blocks: Love the look of it. It's still got a slightly gritty feel which makes it blend well with the rest of your pack, and it looks excellent. I especially love the chiseled blocks.
Marble Stairs: Something about them feels slightly off to me. I feel like they need a tiny bit more detail to keep them from becoming "whited-out" by their own noise.
Stone and Dirt: I feel that they both have a little too much red-clay coloration going on. (at least on my screen) The stone tends to look less, well, stony than I'd expect. Not sure how I feel about them overall, may just take me some time to adapt to the change.
Nether Quartz Ore: I really like the look. I incorporate a lot of raw ores into my architecture as accent pieces, and I really like the look of this.
Stone-Based Ores: I will say that the new stone texture, even though I'm probably not a fan of it, does make ores in it pop really nicely, which I appreciate.
Ok new file loads fine but minecraft goes to black screen and forge log says out of memory although I have 9 gb allocated to MC. but at 2.4 gb everything stops. removing the tex pac and MC works again. ???? Anyone with this problem or an answer . OK is this 1.5 or 1.5.1 compatable. reloaded an older stiched tex pac and MC works fine.
I have a similar problem. every time i switch to the texture pack it gives me a grey screen (not black) and says loading error. I think its something to do with how much memory i have or my computer cant handle the 256x256

Hopper
Redstone Comparator (needs icon only)
Daylight Sensor (needs icon and acutal block)
Minecart with TNT
Minecart with Hopper
Flower Pot (needs icon only)
Those are all that I have found. Feels nice using your texture pack again though. Nicely done!

Here is a link to a Quartz Mansion I'm working on with your Texture Pack so you can see how well it looks in action http://imgur.com/a/xGw86

It's black, just a black square
appears as invisible
I'll import it from another for now
also glass? even with connected textures turned on (fast and fancy), now has solid black bars displayed between the blocks.
- the new sand texture is alot less convincing than the old one
Nice work on the Quartz Blocks.
I like the new stone texture

If all goes well. This may actually be the release and I WILL work on the downsample tomorrow morning. It's been a long day and I need sleep.
