Haha I understand, and sounds good. Thanks for the reply
I'd like to see better gold and iron blocks.. no rivets for example.. that's just one thing I keep changing cause I don't like the borders.
I'm also hoping your redstone block will follow the diamond block and emerald block basic look..
Also not to get to greedy, but a bit of adjustment to glow stone so it's not just so yellow, a little texture in there ..
that's my small list.. wink.
Thanks for this texture pack and the work you do on it, I've been using this texture pack for nearly 2 years, even donated..
@theseemefly
I really want this too but i'm also using 5.1.1
many thanks
I look forward to the update
.. i finally decided to give the texture pack converter a go
It works very well, only the animated textures and new blocks are replaced by the default ones.
If this is news to you, you'll find the converter here; http://www.minecraft...rom-dinnerbone/
problem pretty much solved for me
Just run it
Should try reading previous posts, he stated that it would be this past weekend/mid this week as an estimate, but anything can happen or go wrong, but I would personally say it's a good bet it'll be released before the end of the week. We'll have to see.
Anyway, I'll get some screenshots up in a few hours to see how you guys like the new textures.
Worked early this afternoon, but now it just crashes on start up.
the texture pack was converted from within the default directory
I'm Running Magic Launcher and granting the executable 3072 kb
Optifine A9 Ultra (pre release) (through ML) and rei's most recent zip, injected.
My rig is 8gb, Phenom II x4 (x64 runtime)
In short, no problems here

Alright, it may just be my system. I've tried updating and rolling back Java, my graphics driver, and cleaning my registry. No such luck as of yet.
I'll have to do some more research to see what's going on. So far JRE just spits out an exception access violation error.
Theoretically, I can still create the update. It just will be rough without in-game testing. =)
EDIT:
After 3 and a half hours of PURE frustration, I finally got it running flawlessly. Apparently Minecraft 1.5 disagrees with my graphics card's Catalyst AI. Disabling did wonders.
And.... back to work.
best of luck
Looking that way, Friday at the latest. I've wasted a ton of my free time today, but it shouldn't be too much of an issue as I've gotten quite a bit done already.
I used both during that long period of anger just to see if it that was the case, but thanks for the heads up. I'm using the HD patcher's converted files at the moment. =)
That's quite alright. The manly fist-pump and massive smirk on my face almost makes it worth the struggle I had with my computer. ^-^
