Sorry for the double post, but it's my thread and I do as I please. ^^
Well then, new update is available including the new water which I'm quite impressed with and you should probably thank TheArcher for turning me in the right direction
I do appreciate everyone's help so keep up the good work and find me something to fix. =)
Also, the terrain.png is nearing 100% completion and I can officially call that part of the pack "mine".

Nice update,
Could you provide an alternative link to only the stuff you updated so I dont have to download it again?
I.E.
Terrain.png, items.png, custom_water_flowing.png
Anything like that, Just not the whole pack. it would make it easier than 45MB+ each update
Just wanted to say thanks for the pack, I'm using the 256 version and it's magnificent.
My friend mentioned, and I hadn't noticed it till I started looking closer, that anything above 64x64 has a grainy look to it.
I take it that this has to do with the lack of mip mapping that was mentioned before, so there is nothing you can do about that and I don't hold that against the modification at all.
Would be nice if Notch added it in with official high resolution texture support.
I also uploaded the pack to my webserver, if anyone wants a faster DL and to bypass that download screen. http://sundergaming.com/FastDL/LB%20Pho ... 02.8.3.zip
For some reason, when I start up Minecraft with the x256 pack, it freezes when it gets to Mojang Specfications, and then crashes. I installed the x128 version and it works. I was using the x256 just a day ago. What's wrong? I want x256 back!
Just updated to the latest one, although it probably shouldn't, it has fixed my white lines nonsense :S
Lmao, really???
Maybe my terrain.png was just corrupted when I uploaded it.
Your welcome, lol? :biggrin.gif:
The new update did so many refinements and final touches, I hope you like it. ^^

I could put a torrent link in there. That way, people can select which items they specifically want to download each update.

Same link though.
The lack of mipmapping has become quite a serious issue that I really hope is implemented quite soon. I am getting tired of the absolute lack of high resolution support, but there really isn't anything I can do. =\
Very nice links. =)

There is a how to allocate java video on the first page which should solve that issue. For some reason Minecraft doesn't allocate enough and will crash after a certain amount of memory was used. Another issue that I've experienced is that due to a "quit game" option, MC will leave remnants of data that eventually pile up through constant use. A simple reboot wipes it clean.
In any case, I'd try the video first before doing drastic things such as reinstall

I watched the video and followed the instructions exactly, but it still doesn't work. What do you suggest I do?

I have the exact same problem. I've allocated Java, installed a new version, redownloaded countless times... Nothing. I want this texture pack so bad.

Personally I would try a reinstall because you had said that the game worked before a day ago.

Yeah it's 100% sorted now :S REALLY ODD...
It's looking great :biggrin.gif: Good job there :biggrin.gif:
That really is odd. =\
Well, atleast it's fixed.

Does anyone know the minimum hardware requirements for the x256 pack?
I'd have to say about 3-4 gigs of ram depending on your OS and a semi-decent processor. If you have a 64-bit OS, it's strongly recommended to download the 64bit version of Java.
Lol, I think it was you who suggested removing so long ago. :wink.gif:
Anyway, I'm working on updating the 128x128 pack to the current version of the 256x256 because I think that version is quite stable in terms of refinements.
question: Have you made the dirt less red and more of a brown?
Oh... Forgot about that. =\
My checklist has become extremely cluttered recently, I'm sorry. I'll try and fix it within the next update. I rather enjoy the red tinted dirt, but I'll certainly tone it down a bit.

Feel free to add it to the OP if you want. :tongue.gif:
