So I played this game pretty much when it first came out and I loved when I found this texture pack. It was great back then. Ive let the game go for some time, but I feel like trying my luck again so I thought I would do it in style and get the same texture pack. The problem is, Alot of items or "things" in the new version of minecraft dont have a texture in this pack so they appear invisible or with little lames inside the boxes. Is there any version of this pack that has all these new changes or is this pack just old and obsolete?
I've been insanely busy with creating some awesome textures for the game. I'm actually quite proud of them and we're doing some amazing things with procedural generation in textures which is an interesting concept.
Anyway, I've downloaded 1.4 and I'm going to start working on it today while I have a bit of a break. I really didn't even know the update was out, to be honest. =(
I will keep you guys posted as I progress with this.

It is by far the best texture pack out there. But i am curious if you ahve any idea when it will be done. And why dd you remove the sexy presentation video?

Random mobs and better Skies.Off course right now i would settle for placeholders so i could use the pack. Well one can hope.

Run MCPatcher again and repatch. Game updates overwrite what the MCPatcher puts into the minecraft.jar file. You need to do this every time the game is updated. MCPatcher adds to minecraft.jar files/modified files that handle the higher resolutions. Texture packs are just what it says, textures (basically image files). So Scuttles and others make new textures (image files for the game to use). He doesn't do any modifications for how the game handles high resolution images.
How hard can it be for the minecraft developers to add higher res...so we dont have to use MCPatcher...it would also help them get more sales, since many people, including me, dont(or dident) want to play this game because it looks like **** when they see screenshots,...
if they add higher res then the game wil look much better when they try to sell it...and higher res realy doesent slow the game down at all, so that is not the reason they stil use crappy 16pixel crappy textures.
The 32x32 should be replaced with 16x16. I had minecraft run faster with a 32x32 optifine combined on a 2001 laptop then a 16x16, which was worse for some reason. At least I'm using a different laptop.
