I don't mind at all if you put my tutorial in the main post Scuttles. But wait a few hours for me to get off work and redo it so it's easier to read for people and I'll repost it for you!

Alright, I'll wait then. Thanks for the video, though. =)

I could run it at that size (1920x1080), but im not uploading that big of a file XD
Anyways, So how's the sand so far?
Im waiting for 2.8/2.7.1 Just to say I contributed XD
Water is very tropical by the way, And I put in the new :stone:, its awesome. It is a mod of the old though?
If you need any testers/etc I'll do it.
Lets just hope a creeper troll doesnt come in.
1000 Posts is closer, Sh1t just got real.
Help anyone-I have downloaded the texture pack but I would like to install the 2 grass mods, they wont work since I went out of order, How can I successfully revert to pre LB's pack to put the other packs in first?
Wow, this pack looks fantastic. I have a question, though. Will I be able to use this on a really crappy PC? I'm not very knowledgeable on the technical side of things, so I'm not sure if the higher resolution would make a noticeable difference or not on my PC's performance. I don't want to go through the effort of DLing everything if it's just going to freeze my computer up.
Okie dokie Scuttles, here's the new version of the tutorial. Just over 2 minutes long this time so it's faster to watch and you can see the text great. It's better if you view it directly on youtube, the size of the embedded player on the forum is a bit smaller.

This is very dependent on what your system specs are. I've experienced 4-5 year old computers running this would many problems.
I would like to see your specs to determine if it's capable, though.

Sand is going fairly as shown the previous posts I had showing it off. It blends much better in the distance. ^^

The 2 grass mods are incompatible with the current version of minecraft. The only way to to revert is to reinstall the game or delete the bin folder and rerun the game to download default textures.

Lol im still about ive been on MC a bit but i had being doing a bit of Rift beta and then TestDrive 2 came out so they have been sapping my time.
you miss my critques well your in for a bit of a treat then! check this topic out and see if im making sense? i think i may have solved a problem.
the way KD did his sand has really helped the pixelating problem in the distance.
Must have missed that thread. =(
I usually stalk this forum religiously, lol
Very nice observations and, funny enough, that is exactly what I've been working on after I released the 1.3 compatible update. If you'll notice in previous posts I've softened the sand and even the smoothstone. I'm trying to figure out a way to maintain pristine grass and lose the grain effect. I've even used that spot effect to create a glint on the ocean water with the new texture in the next update.
I'm not usually too big on HD pack, but I must say yours is quite charming. Your smooth stone urges me to try it! I've always been a Misa fan too though, so you'll have a lot to live up to. ;]
Naa, I'm sure your pack is baller.

Thanks, compliments mean alot and really keeps me going to finish this pack. Yea, I've been making some major refining additions that will be coming pretty soon. Competing with Misa's will be a really great challenge, lol. I'm still a fan of their work and use it every so often when I'm sick of testing this pack.
hey ive updated the glass mod for 1.3. The link is on my thread. Thx
Thanks. I put up a link to your thread so others can see your work. I do longer support the glass mod, but I do use some of your stuff. Slimes, mainly. XD
I am looking forward to that enhanced mining mod that you're working on. So much frustration will be relieved. ^^
Just tried it today, to be honest I can't get the damn thing to load, and I own a gaming rig. I really don't think a 128 pack is practical let alone 256, I think you should maybe bring the res down to 64x64 or at least have an optional, my computer is high end and 128 wouldn't even load the game.

What happens when you launch the game with this texture pack installed?

Instead of blaming the pack because it won't load on your computer, try to see some options. I dont' even have a really good computer and I'm getting a comfortable 40-50 fps even with a few mods installed on the 256x256.
What are your computer specs and which method of installation did you use? I guess I should ask if you installed the hd patcher as well.

Revert to older version of minecraft... :ohmy.gif:
O.o
ok I'm not even remotely familiar with java or how it works lol.
my system is 2 years old but it's win7 x64.
4gb ram, amd phenom x4 3.2 or something like that (I don't keep up with system specs anymore..)
