There is some mistake in RPG Realism x512 pack.
The archive has bin folder where texture file of the chest named wrong - chestm.png. To display rpg realism texture it should be named chest.png.
Scuttles is working to update the RPG pack. It is a lot of work and I think he is in school full time and has a new baby, so be patient And if you really like the pack feel free to send a donation his way for his trouble.

No baby yet, haha. Just a small pool that I've been collecting for my future family. Proposing to the girlfriend soon which is terrifying. @[email protected]

Fixed for the next update. Thanks for the heads up, sir. =)
I refuse to let the pack die. I have too many people counting on me. >.<
I'm hoping to get the updates out today. I've just got to finish up the chainmail for both versions and the GUI in the x512 pack isn't quite finished.
I'm glad to hear that. I love RPG pack. The stone texture is one of the best looking stone texture I ever seen. I can't stop staring at it. If you want, you can make an alternate texture pack for Sonic's Shaders for everyone else. That mod is pretty popular(no pun intended). All you need the lightmaps in environment folder and modified terrain.png I once post it here for an example.
I want to give you advice. Start doing textures for the 1.4 release and you will have time to draw and not after the release.
That would be good idea, but the textures are not final. Mojang seems to like changing the textures until they are satisfied with it. But again, it doesn't really matter much unless they make big changes.
I'm using the 256x and I have to say they are totally awes !
I only have one tiny suggestion.
I noticed that under water has a lot of big greyish circles everywhere. I tracked this down to be the smallest size smoke particle in particles.png which is normally only a one pixel size grey square. It's also used underwater as a very subtle occasional bubble effect which normal goes unnoticed unless your looking for it. The smallest smoke particle in the pack is about 26x26 pixels which despite looking really awes and having literally nothing wrong with it or any of them, the game draws this in place of the normal one pixel bubble thing causing there to be a lot of big grey circles everywhere submerged.
I understand this is due to due minecraft's code using the smoke particles elsewhere and not due to the texture pack but imho that single smoke particle needs to be reduced in size unless of course that would cause odd effects elsewhere like actual smoke or something.
When I use LB RPG x128 the water wont show up. Why? Also some textures like bedrock and stone have water blocks on them like small ones, and nether portal blocks on them

Use MC Patcher or Optifine. I recommended Optifine because not only it patches, it improves performance and it have a lot of good features.

I've really always wondered about that. I'll probably get that tweaked pretty soon. Thanks for the suggestion. =)
Are any of the shading mods supporting 1.3.2 and your pack? I've tried a couple and not having much luck. Either way too bright or no effect at all.
Love your packs and have pretty much been using them exclusively since I started. Great work and glad to see you are still working on them.
Best of luck with the GF
Edit: Finally have a half decent computer (i5 3570k @4.2, 8gb ram and 470) and want to push it as far as I can.
I haven't messed around with the shaders in a long time so I have no idea what's new or how things work anymore. I use to have a friend that was working on the height maps a while ago, but I've not heard from him lately.
I've been trying to work on them. I REALLY want to get back into this community. =)
Impressive computer. I really need to upgrade mine as well. It's slowly (Actually pretty quickly) become outdated, haha
Would it be possible for you to do tekkit textures? I have heard texture makers decline to do it because of two reasons mostly. One being that it is very disorganized and hard to texture, the other having to do with the legality of the pack.

To be honest, Tekkit seems to be quite a daunting task to take up on at the moment. I would, however, support any fan willing to work on it and I'll place it in the main page (No Adfly, obviously)
Out of curiosity, are you making any headway into a 512x LB Photo Realism pack or is it on hold at the moment? Just got a badass Nvidia GTX 680 and I can't wait to test it out on a 512x pack, problem is the only pack I love is your Photorealism!

Just finished up the x512 pack about an hour ago. I've just got to save them in .png format and downsample for all the packs before uploading... But homework first. >.<
The x256 pack is also being updated. Small tweaks and only noticeable thing would be the text in the x128 and x64

I was thinking of trying the 512x with the real time shading mod thats out there, forget the name~
I've used your pack before for 1.2.5 and it was really well done

Indeed. The numbers are the resolutions of the textures in game.
I really wish I could run the x512 pack with the real time shading. It looks gorgeous.
I personally wait till the snapshots approach closer to the release of the actual update just in case textures are removed or changed dramatically.
