I have an issue with the 256 x 256 bit texture pack whats been happening is most of the items look fantastic but glass and bookshelfs are just these white blocks when placed but when in hand they look fine otherwise the texture pack is by far my favorite
Didn't work for me... I have a Radeon HD 7570 Desktop Edition from a Dell XPS 8500 or Whatever. Didn't work all I got was Reds, Greens, blues and whites I didn't see anything else. I was trying to use The Photo realism pack and it still didn't work :s Make a guide that makes sence on how to use LB Photo Realism 256x256 with this please. thanks!
I've downloaded the pack twice now, and I can't seem to get it to run. I'm not sure if I'm doing it wrong or not. I've downloaded it to the Texturepack folder, which is where all the other ones, that work, are. I load up the game, and can't seem to click on your pack, no matter what I do. >< Any help would be awesome.
will there be native 'natural textures' introduced in optifine C6, support for this mod? also how can i go about implementing this feature in the mean time, anyone know?
I've just downloaded the 128x version (when I tried the 256x version it didn't allow me to select it in the menu).
The only problem I'm having (of which I'm aware so far) is with water - it appears invisible except for small blue particles. I do have mcpatcher 2.4.0 installed.
What is the easiest way for me to fix this and start fully enjoying this pack (which is far and away the best I've seen)?
I am having issues with the texture pack. When I first downloaded it, I downloaded the 16x version but I didn't like that the animals were still looked like vanilla Minecraft so I removed the texture pack and downloaded the 128x version. However, when I loaded that, the water, lava and nether portals were invisible though they still emitted particles. Also, smooth stone was messed up so that it showed pixels of nether portal and fire in addition to the normal display. So I removed that texture pack and downloaded the 64x version. The smooth stone was fixed, but water and lava are still invisible. What is the issue? What would you suggest I do to fix it?

you need to patch your game. either use mcpatcher or optifine.
Is LB Photo Realism texture pack being continued? Will there be an updated version for Minecraft 1.3? I really like this texture pack and would like to continue using it for Minecraft 1.3. Anyone know who created this texture pack? Unless, the one who started this topic is the creator.. o_o
when i downloaded this. Some of da blocks like the Dirt, grass, redstone and some other ones have a little 1in blick of lava or fire in the corner so mu whole world every grass block has lava on the side
I fixed my earlier problem by clicking "Allow texture pack changes" at the bottom of the Options tab in mcpatcher.
Also, I nearly asked why it wasn't working when I updated to the latest snapshot, but then I realized I'd forgotten to patch my new minecraft.jar. Just in case anyone else was having the same issues.
Am I allowed to use some of your terrain and item tiles (cacti, vines, melons, pumpkins, cobblestone, ..., items: coal, beef & steak, swords), your sun, your clouds and your armor for my upcoming, community based 128x128 Realistic Texture Project ? Would be amazing to have some of your textures in this project. PLEEEAAASEEE
Also did some tweaks for your pack, hope you like it:
Vines: CTM - method=vertical - makes a good appearance in-game
Kind regards, _zombiehunter
Your images don't have any transparency, you might want to fix that
Yea, quite an ugly thing for a texture this great. Anyhoo, you'll need to edit the pack (unzip, modify, rezip) but it's no biggie.
Open the pack zip, within the Font folder there are 2 files: default.png and default.properties
Open default.properties using notepad or such.
There is a list of characters' ascii code=their corresponding pixel width.
Trouble is they all say 6. Change values for chars like I,i,k,r,v, period, coma etc to more fitting ones. For example, for an i or similar 2 works fine, for k and the line 4's the ticket.
Once done adjusting, rezip the pack and put back in your texture packs folder.
My first forum post... Well, here goes. I am flat out astonished at what I have just seen. This is the best Texture Pack I have ever used, however temorarily. It is a shame I can't use it... Anyways, this is a VERY good Texture pack, I would use it if I could. It really improves the game.
Yes. But does it matter right now? No. Ya know why? 1.3 isn't released yet. ****.
