Hey I've been using your texture pack for almost a year now, and I really love it. I decided to make my server, but parts of your texture pack in it to make it look perfect. So, I was wondering if I could use your texture pack to be downloaded by other players from my server and use your artwork in order to add more items into my server's game? Any response will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Thought this was a ready to use texture pack but when I used it half of my blocks are white...has nothing to do with my ram I have tons of Virtual ram available and being used. So i went to the terrain.png file to have a look...i can tell you why "some of you" with the white block problem have it....because the png files have tons of missing or whited over textures...no matter how much ram you allot to java its not going to magically create art in those whited out tiles....so they ones that are still visable ( and they ones that are were done very very well) I will just have to compile into my edited version of Misas (as far as I can tell the most whole of HD texture packs Ive found with around 600 files) while this one you gave us to download only has around 67. I mean the file size says it all...theres just not all of the files that should be there for the different textures in the game. Im using the 64x64 until I can get a new card so maybe thats the only download thats messed up but I assure you somethings wrong. I used the compressed one you have through adfly. Im going to check the ones through the other two links now but just thought you should know something is messed up with this download or if its not and this is intended you should let people know right off its not a complete pack.
i downloaded the 128x pack but when i started the server the water, lava, fire etc... wasn't working. and the stone has the portal and fire effects on it. what was wrong? (if it involes installing something else plz send the link)

I'm using latest recomended spout build with all max settings. I'll also post this on he spout site just in case its not a texture bug.
I'm not sure about the others, but the first one is because of the shaders. It just does that with some texture packs. I'm sorry, but you can't fix it. (former shader user)

Why am I here when I could be a productive member of society?
Hey, Scuttles. I have a couple of issues with the texture pack that I dislike.
First of all, the water being invisible really messes with it, as water is visible. Plus, it takes away from the beauty of Minecraft, because you can't see the natural waterfalls, and oceans just look like dark spots.
Second, what in the world happened to the Bricks?! They are all over the place, looking like they have a mini nether portal in each face! I don't know what you were going for, but I have a brick house on a server that I cannot go near because of the bricks in your texture pack. I have to change to the original pack to play on that server.
Although this is my first post on these forums, I just wanted to thank you for making such a wonderful texture pack. I've been using it for quite a while.
I also wanted to let you know that I featured this texture pack in my new Minecraft Machinima series and left a link in the description back to this thread.

Hey, I recently became aware of your 512x photo realism texture pack. I tried using it because that is AWESOME.
I was pleased that my computer actually could run it with the only downside being the minute- long load time. But in- game it runs smoothly, probably because of that bat file you provided!
But I was just thinking, maybe the texture is too sharp? I think that is the right word to use. The thing about regular minecraft textures is that from far away it looks good, but then close up it looks crappy. But this texture pack, there are too many pixels, and it makes the image too sharp to enjoy from far away. Up close, it's beautiful. I don't know how other videogames do it to their textures, but from far away they don't look so sharp, while still being able to use a lot of pixels.
I don't know why I'm pointing this towards the creator, because, seeing as there are over 450 pages of comments, he/she probably will not even read this... So I guess I'm just talking to anyone who will read this, who also feels me on this!
Or I don't know, someone may have already said this, I haven't read through the other comments.
Cool Texture Pack will you ever do chain armor and xp obs? Since its a realistic texture pack could you make the dyes a bit more realistic a bit like Misa's if you could

The clouds have to set the clouds to fast instead of fancy. I'm not sure if you can do that with spout, whatever that is.

EDIT: and by where to begin I mean with the photo realism part, not making a texture pack.
