AMD Display Driver has stopped working and has recovered. sadly this texture pack is unplayable even at 128x the view freaks out, things moving for no reason, textures going crazy, magical lines through the sky, then the display driver crashes.

since i have no idea what it means, i figure, you as the developer would find this more useful than i. but i have tried to use this texture pack before and immediately ran out of memory upon loading it.
this texture pack looks amazing, but i'm wondering, why can't my Radeon HD 6950 driver handle it? was this texture pack designed for nVidia cards only???
thank you for your hard work, thank you for taking time to read me,
i'm sorry but i can't use your texpack.

Uhh... upgrade your graphics drivers.. That may be the issue not the graphics card because I have that exact GPU and it runs like a charm...
[Edit] Oh, and if something is physically wrong with the video card.... well in the windows diagnostic it said
"A Report from Windows Diagnostics:

Notice how it said "Hardware" that indicates it could be the graphics card itself. Not sure if I am anywhere close to right or wrong.. so anyway.. hope your gpu isnt 'sploding for some reason
Hey all! This is a great texture pack... really enjoyed it a year ago. Just getting back into the game now and for some reason I am unable to see water of any kind when running the 128x version of this texture pack. Seas look like empty canyons with floating octupuses in them. Any help would be appreciated.
Any info on when the next update or a complete update for RPG realism will be released? I really love the pack, but don't use it because it's outdated.
i just installed optifine, and now i can't stop installing HD texturepacks!
there are 3 texturepacks that i definatly wanted to have, and one of them is yours! (the other one is spak's pure BDcraft (something likie that, i can't spell his name ))
The interface for bewing is a bit wonky. The animations for the bubbles and the arrow that gradually fill up become surrounded by a white boarder as the animation plays. I'm sure you're already aware of it, but just thought i'd post it anyhow.
Also, any idea on what you might use for the oxygen bar?
I've been well. Mostly focusing on my studies into the game industry and our latest project is creating a map in Far Cry 2.

I'll look into that. What resolution are you using, exactly?
with me is everything ok but yesterdai i was a litle bit sick and i do not like to be sick
but i played some minecraft and empire total war and i looked for other hd texture packs in case you quit but there is no one better or equil to yours so i if you quit i must update it myself if i can do it becaus i have no expirience in that but i hope you find someone who can continue your work.
have a nice day everyone
Sedawan
Being sick is never fun. I had the flu really bad few weeks ago. =(
Empire Total War was a very fun game, but really seemed unpolished. I've been a fan of that series for quite some time and I really love their new installment, Shogun 2.
I also hope someone can continue my work if I become too swamped this summer.
Is Minecraft have any more updates been talked about yet? I haven't seen much.
Hey Scuttles. Love your texture pack so much! Thank you for all the hard work you put into it. Is there a 512x version of LB Photorealism? I saw that there was a link for the 512 of the RPG pack, but I didn't see one for Photorealism. Did I just miss it?
Can anyone tell me why I cannot see stone brick, wood planks, or wood when I use this texture pack? My computer is more than up to the task of running this in 256x, and I am using the most current optifine version. I am using 1.2.5 minecraft but even though this is for 1.2.4, other people seem to have it working fine.
I love the texture packs, especially the 256, however at a distance of 10 blocks or more the textures seems to acquire static over top of them. Any reason why? Too much information and not enough pixels perhaps?

It's called graininess which it usually happens at higher resolution textures. MC doesn't come with AFx16 and mipmapping. Opitfine mod does have mip-mapping. I recommended mip-map level 2, anything higher than that would make the textures lose the details.

yes, mipmapping is really awesome with high res packs with the graininess and the fps boost from the additional options is great too. Lower res. monitors also have more graininess with higher res. textures.

Make sure you are not using the compressed version of the pack, it is not even beta 1.8 compatible. It isn't because this is for 1.2.4 because 1.2.5 added no new blocks or textures. But if you are getting plain white blocks, that could be that you are running out of memory. (I just think that the issue is that you're probably using compressed version though) hope this helps, you should be able to experience this amazing texture pack in its fullest like everyone else too, because it truly is amazing.

Oh, sorry. Uh, 128x. And while i've got you here, the textures for the brewing plates don't really line up either.
